“I had no idea Vietnamese food was so delicious until I found this restaurant. Local, freah food, affordable prices, great quantity and quality consistently. I never feel disgusting when I eat here and in fact, just the opposite. I eat here frequently when I want takeout but want it to be healthy. You wouldn’t believe me until you try it, but their crispy spicy chicken wings are amongst the best I have ever had. There’s this nice little hot pepper bell pepper onion slaw that is delicious. Their squid variation of this dish is also amazing and often times unable to make up our minds we get both.

For the main, big fan of the vermicelli bowl. Picture is of that meal, 5 color. My wife loves the special beef rare pho. I am not even a pho guy and love it. We go here often when visitors stay at our place to flaunt how good it is.“

“We visited PhoEver Banh Mi Subs & Cafe for dinner on Canada Day and had a really good first experience. Even though we’ve lived in north Edmonton for over 20 years, this was our first time trying this spot, and with the location being newer to the area, we wanted to check it out.

The food was very good — fresh, flavourful, and enjoyable overall. It’s always nice to see new food options opening in the community, and this place definitely has potential.

The one constructive note would be around the speed of service. We came at a quieter time, possibly because it was Canada Day and many people may have been out of the city, but I did notice a few people come in and leave before ordering. My assumption is that the wait or pace of service may have been a factor. As they continue to establish themselves and grow, improving the flow and speed of service would make the experience even better.

“Came here for the first time, we asked our phone the nearest place for pho. We weren’t disappointed. We had the A1 appetizer plate, rare beef pho and the bun bo hue. Outstanding! In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, “I’ll be back.”“

“I’ve been coming here for 15+ years and it has been consistently good, so I figured a review is well overdue! This is the BEST pho in Edmonton hands down. It meets the trifecta of perfect pho: the broth is the clear and flavourful, the noodles have a great bite and don’t get soggy quickly, and the meat is tender. They also don’t skimp on the bean sprouts. They ONLY serve pho so you know it’s good!!! Keep in mind they’re cash/etransfer only (another point of legitimacy).

It’s a family recipe that I have grown up with since I was a child. Absolute god-tier pho for a great price

“The food had good flavor overall, and I’d give it 4 stars for taste. The curry was enjoyable, but it was mostly filled with red peppers and could have used more variety of vegetables. The shrimp dish was tasty, but there was too much mayo, and there was quite a bit of watery liquid at the bottom, which affected the texture. With a few small improvements, this could be an even better dining experience.“

“Ate dinner with a friend. I was hungry and can eat quite a lot, so my number one concern was that the pho portion would be too small to satisfy me—I clearly didn’t have to worry about that! My friend and I each had a pho: I had the satay while my friend had their ‘everything pho’. The satay was huge and tangy, and incredibly tasty, with generous portions of meat and vegetables. And they gave us extra bean sprouts, lemon, and basil beforehand too! To be honest, because of the sheer size of the (multiple) menus I figured the food wouldn’t be that good; I was so wrong. My friend enjoyed too. The atmosphere was perfectly quiet and home-y. Our server, Thai, was so polite and pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend!“

“My family's go to place whenever we crave for Vietnamese food..food is always on point...couple of times they screwed up our order. **ordered 1 order of 2pcs porkchop with rice instead charged us twice on the said dish...we choose not to complain .. but cautious now to ALWAYS repeat/ verify/ confirm our order few times whenever we have to order the same dish.. A great Spicy Beef Satay soup I searched far and wide for, I tried a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and this is my favourite in Edmonton. Always fast, friendly and tasty food. “Came for the Chinatown dining week special. $10 for a full sized sub and an iced coffee, it's a great deal. The banh mi is a bit smaller compared to other places I've gone to in Chinatown (e.g Nhoa Hoa 2). The iced coffee flavor was nice and strong, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. I tried to ask for less sweet, but their ice coffee is pre mixed, so they could not adjust the sweetness. To make things more customizable, they could have some plain coffee available to mix and make it less sweet. Overall a good deal, and it tastes good, but I would probably still stick with the other banh mi shop my family goes to if there isn't a deal going on.“

“Pros: The selection is good, food is fresh and kept topped up. The restaurant is clean. Good neighborhood compared to downtown. Cons: They no longer offer garlic by the sauces. We were not offered drinks or water refill. The soup was almost dry and we’re not offered more broth. I even saw the next table get their own broth to fill themselves. There were 3 of us and the bill came to $99 dollars with no tax. The woman’s toilet seat was frozen! The owner reminded my teen son (not us) that there is a 1.5 hr limit. There is a sign on the wall to say stop wasting food - I never started wasting food! There’s less rude signs that mean the same thing. Overall we’d go back because of the food and value. We have low expectations on welcoming service.“
