“My family and I came here today (Family Day) with my parents to try the buffet.Myself, partner and two young children are vegan. Staff let us know that the vegan buffet is on Friday. However, they were extremely accommodating when we asked about vegan options available at today’s buffet. They let us know what was vegan, and even went out of their way to prepare us additional vegan items that were not part of the buffet today for no additional cost. The food was yummy and the service was excellent! We will definitely be going back on a Friday for the regularly scheduled vegan buffet!Dietary restrictions: This establishment is accommodating of vegan diet and has a vegan buffet on Fridays! Vegan pizza is delish!“
“A friend told me I must try this restaurant, it did not disappoint!! I had the spicy noodle soup and it was perfect not too spicy, but definitely hit the spot. If you are not vegetarian or vegan still give it a try the food is amazing. I will definitely be back for more!“
“Bloom is, by far, the best cookies I have had. AND they are vegan which is even better. I picked up enough for my daughter's class for her birthday and all were happy and impressed. I also had their incredible berry and lemon scone just out of the oven. What amazing tastes all mixed together.Vegetarian options: The whole place is vegan friendly.“
“The Tao chicken is great - never thought I could enjoy vegetables this much (sauce they use tastes amazing). My only minor nitpick is it would've been nice to have some photos for the online menu. Also I was a little confused what the difference between individual and entree portions is (couldn't tell if entree comes with rice or if that has to be added separately).“
“What a great experience!! Great store, amazing variety of super ,healthy and tasty meals. Food is cooked and frozen , ready to heat up and enjoy!!! Great service. Soooo great to be able to buy whole food plant based food made from scratch without any processed ingredients. Will try it all!!“
“oh man. We tried Loma House for the first time last night. I'm newly(ish) mostly vegetarian, my better half is a carnivore. We had a bit of everything. I didn't tell him until after all of this was vegan. He said with food like this "I could be vegan!" To put this in perspective, this is coming from a man whose only wish for his birthday was some massive steaks. The food is phenomenally tasty!“
“Vish! A mediterranean restaurant on 124st serving halal meats and specializing in varying types of hummus.I am always on the look out for new and tasty restaurants in Edmonton that have a large vegetarian selection (for my partner) so when I saw Vish come across my instagram, it sounded like somewhere we had to try.We went to check it out on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We thought it would be busy but it really wasn't too bad. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a big window giving it lots of natural sunlight and making for a great people watching spot. The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly and attentive.Vish is a order at the counter place, take a seat and they will bring your food to your table kind of place. The menu is pretty big and we had a hard time choosing what we wanted to try for our first time there but we ultimately settled on a BBQ pulled beef pocket, a vegetarian chicken pocket and the Complete Vish hummus.Initial thoughts were that it was a decent amount of food but wouldn't be too much and that everything looked really good. The pockets were delicious and incredibly filling. I really didn't think i would be as full as I was at the end. I guess I probably could have done without the complete vish but I really REALLY wanted to try one of their hummus dishes. Zero regrets. lol. My partner loved his fake chicken pocket too and he even got an extra pita for the hummus bowl. Conclusion: We really enjoyed Vish and found it to be a great sunny day lunch spot. We'll certainly be back. Next up to try will be one of Vish's combo plates. They looked so good on the insta page and happened to eye ball one another patron was having.“
“It is just so nice to go to a place and be able to order anything off the menu. Service was excellent and the portions were appropriate. The nachos were well stacked and the sandwich was very big. Fries were tasty albeit a little limp. But all in all it's a good place for quick food.“
“This was my favorite restaurant for the last decade and one that I was always praising. Their food quality has diminished lately as their ma po tofu is watery and not as flavourful as it was years ago. It used to be the best ma po tofu in town and something that I ordered monthly. My main qualm with Padmanadi, though, is their ridiculous refund/cancelation policy. When your party makes a reservation for the buffet, you have to pay $5/person to do so. ~24 hours before your reservation, you get a request to confirm or cancel. What's ridiculous, though, is that apparently Padmanadi has a 48 hour cancellation/refund policy, meaning there is zero chance of a refund or use of the credit at a later date in the event of you becoming extremely ill and unable to attend. This is a scam and perpetuates the poor public health practice of people going out when they are ill and infecting others. Very disappointing to say the least.“
