“This place is great place to go as a downtown cafe and offers decent drinks and baked goods. I had the lavender and strawberry donuts and they were incredibly flavourful. The coffee here is not bad, but nothing to write home about. Would definitely come back as it is one of the better cafes in the area.“
“First time trying Pip and it was fantastic!It's a bit loud and service was slow but they were busy.Best eggs benny I've ever had. Prices aren't outrageous, and the portions are good.The Benny had so much shaved ham, it was refreshing after so many places seem to really skimp on toppings. The hollandaise was delicious and the potatoes were had the home cooked flavor you want in breakfast potatoes! Oh and the best part?? The egg was actually cooked true to medium, no runny whites, slightly cooked edges of yolk but runny middle..finally!!! I Will be back!“

“Just had an amazing experience at this OEB location. We had decided to stop by for breakfast. They were very accommodating seating our party of 4 without reservation. Once seated our waitress Avery was very prompt in getting our drinks. It was our first time at OEB so we were unsure what to order but Avery was very helpful proving us with excellent recommendations for food. I chose one of Avery’s recommendations the Croque Madame and it was fantastic. The food came out promptly and was very delicious. If you get a chance go to this location and have breakfast here. Finally I wanted to thank the cooks for making such great food and our waitress Avery for making our first experience amazing!“

“I usually order a classic poutine and it always tastes amazing. The guy working the evening shift is also very kind. He recommended I try the classic poutine with their sweet sauce, and it did complement the flavours of the gravy pretty well. However, the only downside are the prices. They are a bit much. But otherwise poutine was great.“

They mark flavours off the board as they become unavailable as well so you know beforehand when you order, which I like. “Absolutely fantastic! Went in for the first time and really enjoyed the menu for Downtown Dining week. Booked a reservation and was seated promptly when we arrived on time. The wait time to place our first order was a bit on long, but our server was very nice and constantly checked on us throughout our courses afterwards. They also explained the aspect of each course so it was more enjoyable to eat our meals, knowing what went into them!We started off with their All Inclusive from their Sober Cat menu, and it's something that we'd definitely order again when we go back!Ordered bone marrow (very melt-in-your-mouth), their DOSC ceasar salad (great flavour and crunch), 8 oz Smoked Juniper and Coffee Rubbed Flat Iron (a bit tough of a cut but enjoyed the deeper flavour it gave) and Rigatoni a la Vodka (had a pleasant kick of heat that we didn't expect but really enjoyed). Ended things off with their Chocolate Pave that was very rich and decadent, but we couldn't finish it as we were full from the previous courses. Loved it! Would visit again!“

“Amazing first time at Rocky Mountain Ice house! originally went to cask & barrel and the waitress recommended to go here for the larger menu. our server was absolutely the best. they have the best crab cakes I've ever had! Not overcooked, not burnt or greasy and perfect portion for the price. I also had the pork belly with the smashed potatoes, holy smokes were they delicious! my date had the Southern fried chicken and the mac and cheese. the only thing I recommend is the mac and cheese needs to be cheesier! so nice to have a slice of watermelon on the side. the watermelon Caesar salad is also really really good!! Definitely coming back.“

“Please add more pandan flavour to cookie. It tasted like a plain sugar cookie and was well baked, but pandan didn't come through. I know it's a light flavour but I couldn't taste any at all. Maybe we got an under flavoured batch?“
