“Analog Brewing has a really cool vibe with the video game/comic theme. They had a good variety of flavours. We had the ginger beer and In Another Castle (peach mango milkshake IPA). I wouldn’t say the IPA had anything that reminded me of a milkshake, but I got the hints of peach and mango. They also had a good selection of board games. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere on the patio.“

“I have been a loyal customer for more than 30 years at Stawnichy's Mundare Sausage because I believe they make the finest sausage in western Canada. Three generations of my family have always stopped in Mundare to pick up a fairly large order … mainly sausage and pepperoni … to bring to extended family and friends in Saskatoon as it is not sold in our province. Heck, we’ve even made a special trip many times to Mundare for the sole purpose of buying their sausage. The quality of their product and their customer service has been excellent. Last week we placed a large order, over 50 rings of sausage, 10 packs of pepperoni and 2 pounds of jerkey bits. When our friend picked up the order he asked if he should open and check to make sure it was accurate as the total cost was quite higher than previous orders we had placed of similar size. He was told not to worry as it was good to go. After arriving home in Saskatoon, the cases were opened and to our shock there was over 13.5 pounds of jerky bits which explained the large bill. We had planned to spend around $50 on jerky bits definitely not around $350. That is definitely an excessive difference when we are retired and on a fixed income. I called the following day to discuss this mix up with a very nice employee, Doreen, who was the acting manager in the store that day.I explained how I had been given and charged for almost 14 pounds of jerky when I only order 2. She apologized for the mistake She indicated that we would be refunded the difference and that she just needed to run it past the manager and asked me to call back on Tuesday. When I called on Tuesday and asked to speak to Doreen I was asked my name and when I gave my name to them I was put on hold until Brian came onto the phone. He was overly combative as soon as the conversation began and was completely unwilling to honour what was discussed between Doreen and me on Saturday. After a brief back and forth the line went dead and that’s when Tyler jumped on. Now this clown was a real treat to deal with. I have never been spoken to so rudely by an employee at a business. I was accused of lying when he tried telling me my facts were wrong and that the person I had pick it up did in fact check the order in the store (I doubled checked with my friend who confirmed he never checked the order, plus the fact that we cut the tape open on the boxes would confirm to me that this didn’t happen). Then Tyler had the nerve to accuse me of trying to scam them and that this was some type of scheme to get free product from them. His answer to resolve this situation was to offer a $100 instore credit, which I refused, as I highly doubt I will return there after being treated so poorly and point blank being called a liar. This was nothing more than a simple mix up, I ordered 2 pounds of jerky bits and was sent and charged for 13.5 (at $26/pound). However, the response was so unprofessional from these two idiots, it has just left me shaking my head. I would highly recommend they take a page out of Doreen’s book as they could learn a lot from her about customer service and owning up to your mistakes.If these two individuals are the voice of the Stawnichy name the founders of this great family business would be appalled as there business is based on treating customers with respect. This is a complete embarrassment for this company which until now has been nothing but great to deal with over the past decades and I hope some lessons are learned from it. I’m not sure if these are new managers but clearly they need lessons in how to treat customers.“

“As a new resident in the area I have been looking for a great little local taproom with great beer and atmosphere. This is it. Wonderful variety of beer on tap and the crew that work there are amazing. Steve there during the week and the two gals (Veronique? and Chilla?) on the weekend always make me feel welcomed and appreciated. Nice to be able to bring outside food in and enjoy some amazing local craft beer and visit with the pets that come in too, joining in on the fun. “A blast from the past. This diner has been around for 75+ years at this point and delivers a very comfortable and friendly vibe. The mushroom Swiss burger was absolutely amazing. The taste was simple, yet flavourful and the patty was juicy with a crispy outside.

For $11(burger) or $15(combo) the price for the quality you cant beat anywhere else, but hey lets not get too into that or we can see the price raised… This burger hit the craving with still a feel good after feeling, with the top choice the #1 which had the best veggie/meat ratio cooked to perfection!!! Best part was seeing zero signs of grease anywhere, with every bit being just as juicy as the next! Can’t get enough, and am already craving my next bit!!! “I had the brisket, burnt ends brisket, fried chicken thighs. Dill pickle, Cajun fries with dip and gravy. All the meats were fantastic. The gravy was not good - bland, no flavour. The fries were very tasty. For dessert- pecan pie, which I recommend. Price is on the higher side.“

“We love the flavours and taste of this restaurant. But today the service was subpar. When I went up to the counter to pay, the server told me I had to pick the 15% tips because my party was 6 people, which was fine except we did not receive the service this tips deserves. Nobody checked on us even once regarding the food quality, if they did we would have told them there was a piece of hair in our cold noodles. Several of our requests were also forgotten as well. The food was great, the service fell through today.“

“Great quality pastries. Fluffy, light and their fillings are not too sweet which I appreciate. Im impressed by the elegance and well executed technique of their pastries. Their almond croissants are perfect. Bavarian cream donut is light and refreshing. There was only once that I wished their vanilla custard cruffin had more filling in it, and it tasted a bit more plain which was to be expected for that flavour. Blueberry cheesecake croissant was amazing.

Their selection changes - I’m waiting to try their crème brûlée croissant, crème brûlée tarts (wish they always had) flattened croissant and macroissant (with macarons).
