An aperol spritzer and an old fashion. Both were pretty decent.We decided to split a bunch of things to share. We went with the truffle salad (because I love this dish here). The Pembina pork pasta, the grilled cheese sandwich and the special flatbread of the night.Things came out in a timely manner so we can enjoy each dish.First was the truffle salad. I like this because it is not over dressed and the truffle mixed with the crunch of the hazelnuts and the richness of the cheese makes a perfect combination.The pasta was cooked el dente, the pork was good but there could have been more of it in there according to my husband.His favourite was the grilled cheese. It was perfect. Grilled sourdough with Gruyere dripping from it. I also liked this one very much.Finally the flatbread of the night. Really tasty mix of meat and spicy peppers.“

Being Chinese myself, I was initially a bit skeptical about the authenticity of the Chinese food here because it seemed more catered towards a Western audience, but I ordered some dishes recommended by the owners and was blown away by how good they were. I highly recommend their fried rice, beef with flat rice noodles, and nacho wontons. The food was very delicious and had that authentic "fire of the wok" taste. The nacho wontons were a very unique Mexican- Chinese fusion appetizer. The service was also attentive and super nice. Highly recommended!“

However, the food is a little on the more expensive end at about 20 for just about anything you see on the menu, even the shareables are close to that cost point. I went during St Patrick’s weekend, and although there was an 8$ cover charge, the music was good and the atmosphere was good.
