“I went here for the fried chicken skins and they did not disappoint. They were amazing, fried to perfection. Not so crisp that they shattered when you bit into them, or slightly soft and chewy like I have had in other places, and only $5 a plate. They were so good I had to have 2 orders. My pink pony-ade was dangerously delicious and on a warm summer night they went down extremely fast. Our server was fantastic! In a busy room she was still on top of things. Plates and glasses were cleared quickly, and beverage refills were even accompanied by a change of coasters, which is a step above in my books. To top it all off, it was open mic night and the local talent was fantastic. What a great downtown spot. We will be back again!“

“This little neighborhood pub is nothing short of AMAZING. The service is incredible. You truly feel looked after and well taken care of by the staff, and they are all gorgeous 😍. The food is incredible. The wood oven makes such a difference and I LOVE the fact that nothing is deep fried. One of the nest things about this pub is the campfire smell when you walk in the door. The overall atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable, and warm. This is the perfect place to come after a long day of work and on the weekends. I urge EVERYONE to try this place.“

“Colene on Friday night and the Deja gave me absolute impeccable service. They were on it. They got everyone else taken care of as well as myself. My boyfriend and I will be coming back just for them specifically that they were so great so friendly so kind and made me feel so welcome.“

“Went to Casselwood Pub 4 times back in 2017 and 2018. Our group thought the food was great and the atmosphere was okay, but the waitress, (I believe her name was Tanya) was absolutely amazing. Yes she forgot my wife's Fish and Chips, but she had such a heartfelt apology and and such an amazing presence that my wife and I went back multiple times afterward. We would still be going there if I hadn't been forced to move to the East Coast. I'm still not sure whether it was the food or the waitress but my wife and I believe it was Tanya.“

This is the first time we have ever been asked at any restaurant about allergies - 5 stars for that alone. Once we indicated that there were allergies, the staff went out of their way to ensure that our choices were allergy free, offering options until we found an option that would work. Food was great, service was friendly, warm, fun, and kind. Thumbs up to Adriana and the rest of the staff. We will definitely be back and recommending to our friends and family.“

“It's a staple of the area, I used to buy pizza from there nearly 20 years ago I was pleased to see very reasonable prices for the food and drink!

I ordered a chicken and mushroom pizza and it did not disappoint, the drinks were cold and generous and the host was incredibly friendly, as were the bar staff.

They were a bit short staffed tonight and we had to wait a bit but the music bingo made it worthwhile. We even won a prize. Our waitress was attentive to make my son's birthday special. We didn't have to wait long for our food after we ordered despite it being extremely busy. My only negative feedback was that the large pan of nachos had very little toppings, barely any cheese. Load the nachos and it would have been good. Other than that I highly recommend Hudsons Canadian pub.“
