“We had a great meal at Montana’s in South Common. Our server, Alyssa was so attentive and had our drink, appetizer and dinners orders out to us, perfectly timed. Our drinks were always full, as well. We ordered the beef brisket potato skins as a starter and they were so tasty! We had the fish and chips and the chicken club and they were both 10/10. Definitely will be back!“

“This has been one of my favourite restaurants for a long time. Dinning in is always wonderful, but anytime I order delivery this is always my top choice. I already have them a great review on Google, but once again the management team never disappoints! From time to time people make mistakes, that’s life. But when the restaurant goes above and beyond to make it right is a fading thing it seems, but not with JOEY mayfield common!! Twice now the management team has corrected the mistakes and offered great compensation for so. Like one of my favourite things when I order is that they throw in a free brownie. They missed it this one time and I called and she corrected on my next order. Thank you sooo much, the brownies are to die for 😍… you definitely hooked me up on this order too. Made me giggle 🤭. “We came here for appies on our wedding anniversary. The food and service was great! The server Kathryn asked what we did for our special day and we mentioned that we got desert and drinks at another restaurant first. She asked how it was and I mentioned that the espresso martini was not as good as I hoped at the earlier restaurant. She put that in the back of her mind and asked if we wanted a free desert for our anniversary. I declined as we already had one earlier. She then spoke with the manager and was able to offer a free espresso martini to see if it was yummier than my earlier one. I happily accepted, loving how she personalized our date even more than she had to. I can confirm, the espresso martini at Earls was my favourite of the night for sure. Thanks so much Kathryn!“

“CRAFT Beer Market has been part of downtown Edmonton since 2013 and is known for its huge beer selection, multi-level layout, and lively game-day atmosphere.
The Edmonton location has more than 100 beers on tap, which makes it a pretty easy choice if you’re looking to try something different.
Stopped into CRAFT Beer Market in Edmonton for a quick drink and bite while watching some World Cup games, and it ended up being a really fun spot for it.
The place is huge with plenty of seating, a massive bar, tons of TVs, and a really energetic atmosphere once the game got going.
If you’re looking for somewhere to watch sports with a group, this is definitely the kind of place that works well.
For food, we ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and queso dip, and both were solid bar-food options. I paired everything with a Sea Change beer, which was good as well. One of the biggest positives here is obviously the beer selection—there are a ton of different options, so pretty much everyone should be able to find something they like.
Service was quick and the staff was friendly, even with the place being busy. Another big plus is the happy hour menu, especially since they offer it on weekends too, which is always nice when you’re stopping in for a few drinks and snacks.
Overall, CRAFT Beer Market was a really solid sports-bar experience with good food, a huge beer selection, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. I’d definitely come back and would recommend it if you’re downtown looking for drinks, casual food, or somewhere to catch a game.“

We returned again on Friday and were lucky to have the same waitress—once again, she went above and beyond. She generously comped our mocktails and even gave us a $20 gift card in case we needed to come back again. During such a stressful and emotional time, her kindness and compassion meant more than she’ll ever know. Being rushed to the city for a hospitalized family member is overwhelming, and this level of thoughtfulness was truly unexpected and deeply appreciated.“

“Stopped in Edmonton for a long weekend and ended up at Woodwork on a Thursday evening, no regrets at all. The dining room has this cozy exposed-brick vibe that made the wait for a table feel worth it, and the bone marrow appetizer was easily one of the best things I ate on the whole trip. Our server was genuinely knowledgeable about the menu and walked us through pairings without being pushy about it. Parking on the street nearby was easier than expected for a downtown spot, which was a nice bonus after a long day of sightseeing.“

He read our table right away, nailed every recommendation, and kept us laughing. “Our first meal after being discharged from the Stollery Children’s Hospital, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! After a very stressful few days with our son in the hospital, it was so nice to sit down, relax, and enjoy a wonderful meal together.

Our server, Pablo, was absolutely fantastic! He was so kind, attentive, and especially wonderful with our son. His warmth and genuine kindness meant more to us than he probably realized.

“Today, I wanted French Toast. But I didn't want to spend $40+ at a fancy buffet, so I decided to stop in to an Ol Skool Ma and Pa shop, Maria's Place. Last I stepped in was about 10+ years ago. I am happy to see that the place is busy than ever and the prices have stayed the same. I gave it a 5 star service,as being there was only 2 people working multiple different roles, she held it down and everyone got their food. I spent under $20 for a whole breakfast plate with refillable coffee. Super grateful that this place is still in business. Walked out with a great big smile and a full belly. ❤️“
