“The food was good. The tomato soup was lacking a bit of seasoning but was otherwise tasty.

The burger was enormous with a huge plate of fries. I found the fries to be a bit under seasoned as well.

The gnocchi was softer than expected but had good flavor, and the sausage was packed with fennel.

Service was above and beyond. Couldn't have ended our night on a better note.

Will definitely be back!“

“stopped in yesterday on a whim to try something new with the family as we came into the city. fantastic experience overall, the decor and vibe from the music was on point. staff were friendly especially to my little one. Great cocktails and the food very filling and flavourful. The dip the fries and hashbrowns come with is amazing. Only downside if any was shortly after arrival while enjoying our round of drinks, the wife then i did notice the tempature in the place kick up. maybe heaters kicked on, not sure.. made it pretty warm / uncomfortable (especially while wearing dress shirt) while sitting there enjoying our meal and drinks.“

Book a reservation. Do not just walk in. It will be highly likely you will not get a seat, even at the bar. Recommend looking at the menu before hand to decipher the dishes. The menu doesn’t read in self explanatory terms in the sense that it is very Italian. Not a bad thing but can be overwhelming never been there before. Check the photos in google reviews and Instagram to give you an idea of dishes and how they are presented. Once the ordering is out of the way sit and relax. Enjoy the cocktail or glass of wine by candlelight as you wait for eats. It takes a little while but that’s part of the experience. What can be frustrating from time to time is the service. With the understanding of how crazy busy this place is most of the time I let it slide. Most servers will take note of wait times on food and provide you with a status update without being asked. Unfortunately during my latest experience the couple sat next to me at the bar after I was seated put their drink order in before us. Got the drinks before us. Then even ordered before us which resulted in them getting some food before us. I feel like there’s just not enough staff maybe considering the high demand for service in an environment in which you’re paying a premium for the entire dining experience. Just have patience. That’s what I’d suggest dining here for the first time or 10th time haha

Overall will come back. Will book a reservation. Will bring friends! Will eat all the fonduta agnolotti, sage butter and parmigiano ! Aka the little pillows of happiness lol

Parking: Go early to find parking. Maybe drop your partner off at the door if it’s easier

“I typically enjoy Earl's food. However, on this occasion, I was disappointed.
I asked for a medium well-cooked steak and I was served one that was medium rare. Also, the french fries that came with the steak were cold.
I will continue to go to Earl's because they are usually very good and all establishments can have an off day.“

“Most appealing to me is the vegi sandwich as I’m not into fried or extra fats. BUT a vegi sandwich needs colour in addition to green. Some nice red onion, red or orange pepper instead of green, maybe a tomato! Love the patio! Great service!“

“We went to Woodwork for lunch with a larger group from work. The atmosphere was great, love the smell of wood burning fire. The food was excellent all around. Members of our group had the soup which I was told was awesome. We also had quite a few who had the daily quiche which was also excellent with flaky crust and the perfect amount of cheese. The side salad was good if a little bland but it was nice and fresh. Those who had the Reuben said it was delicious too. All around great food. Our only complaint is very minor, the food was quite slow in coming out and there weren't many in the restaurant. I would be concerned if it was busier. But over all it was excellent and we already have plans to go again.“

The place was very packed during the Remembrance Day long weekend but the staff remained friendly and helpful. My girlfriend got a nice little birthday dessert too, which was quite the pleasant surprise. The bill took longer than expected to arrive, but not a deal breaker and I would still return here.“

“my friend and i showed up at partake after we tried to get into violino but it was fully booked and i`m SO glad we did. the servers were incredibly kind, fun and gave good suggestions .
while ordering. the food was seriously generously portioned, with the charcuterie board hosting what seemed like 60g of each meat selection. the chef is insanely talented in all areas, but the desserts had us literally slapping our knees; more specifically, the pumpkin cheesecake. also try the whipped brie!!!“

“Came in with my boyfriend for dinner a few days ago and had a great time! Atmosphere was super lively and inviting. Food and drinks were very yummy, and they have some great happy hour deals. Our server was Arsh, she was wonderful- very attentive and kind. The manager Delenn stopped by to check on us as well and was so friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“We were a group of 9 for lunch. Apologize for the lack of pictures. Food was fantastic as was the service and the music. We shared a few dishes, all were delicious. The restaurant kindly let us order a couple of items from the Bites menu (normally available from 3- close): Tempura Oyster Mushrooms (so tasty and crispy) and Bread Rolls (could have filled up with those). From the Gardens & Grains: Romaine salad, smashed cucumber (this was a hit with all) and Grilled Broccolini (lovely charred flavour - one of the ladies ordered it for her lunch it was so good).

For mains, again everyone was raving about their dish. I may be missing a couple of items but I know we tried: Brunch Menu: Chorizo Verde, Brunch Greens, Sandwich Menu: Buttermilk Fried Chicken Thigh (very flavourful), Bison Patty (they had it as a lettuce wrap), Chorizo Verde Smash Patty (loved it).

Each dish had something unique added to it - black garlic cream, pickled grapes, candied jalapeno, charred garlic cream.

I highly recommend going. The outside restaurant signage doesn't jump out at you - you do need to look for it. Well worth a trip!

Solid beer recommendation after a taster and some feedback about what I did and did not like about it. I wasn't in the mood for full brunch or lunch, and so ordered only sides from the brunch menu. I mention my intent to assemble a sandwich and they put it together for me!“

The fish and chips batter does not have dairy in it, in case you need to know! And it's good. Lettuce burger "buns" are available and there are vegan and vegetarian dishes. My friend enjoyed the poke bowl, though a bit spicy for their taste. So if you're used to no spice it's a bit much but otherwise very tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. Bathrooms are impressive.“

“We had the Wagyu Hot Stone as an appetizer. Mouthwatering, melt-in-your-mouth, some other third thing that also references mouth — cause that’s where it belongs. So fkn good.
Osso Buco & Ribeye for our mains. Delicious. Veg could use a bit more cook time, a lil too al dente for my taste. Seems like an industry standard though.
Our server Damian was a pleasure to chat with, and provided excellent service.
Atmosphere was great as usual. Loud. So, could be a little hard to hear but easy enough to maintain conversation.

“Went in for lunch with a friend and generally I am not a huge fan of Earl’s but, my friend picked where we were eating. I have to admit that I was blown away by the food, service everything and I will most definitely be coming back to this location. I unfortunately did not take any pictures like I normally would but, we both had eggs Benedict and the potato pave was AMAZING!!! I also ordered the Bourbon Pecan Pie and I have to say that I hope you make this a permanent on your dessert menu because it was so delicious I have to say it is definitely in the top 5 pecan pies I have ever had!!! I also want to say how great the staff was as my friend and I had not seen each other in over ten years and so we were slow to order and we definitely took our time leaving. We felt bad about tying up a table for so long and apologized a few times and explained why we were hanging around and the staff were very friendly and patient with us which was very appreciated.“

“I visited Guru kitchen bar for the first time last weekend, and it was just amazing! It had a modern, chic feel to it, so it was perfect for going out at night. I ordered butter chicken and garlic naan; it's probably the best I have had in a while. The spices were balanced, and the portion was huge.
