My partner and I went to Alchemy with both of our parents. The atmosphere was wonderful, very cozy and warm. However, the service we received here was less than ideal. Our waitress was drinking throughout her shift and, quite frankly, acting inappropriately for a family gathering. She laid down at one point to take our order before laughing hysterically. They deliver well on atmosphere. The space is chic, luxurious, modern, and well designed. The vibe is a bit pretentious for Edmonton (this bar would fit Vancouver very well).
