The Canadian Icehouse Reviews
Come find Neil bartender for ice room fun and best vodka recommendations!! Love this place I’ll be back again
Such a cool experience the food was delicious the drinks were ice cold neil the bartender was amazing such a cool atmosphere with all the tvs and sports memorbillia Decor great place for before or after an event or to just watch a sporting event maybe one day night I could come back and perform some bar magic for everyone 😀
Watched Canada's World Cup game vs RSA. There were plenty of staff to handle the crowd. Our server was patient and helpful explaining the daily specials/menu. She also suggested downloading the CBH app (which got us a free appie). The space was large with numerous TVs. Prices for food/beverages were competitive with other downtown venues. There is a large rooftop patio, but the weather didn't cooperate during our visit. The indoor area is usually very busy during the Oilers season.

The Canadian Icehouse is a popular spot for pre-game meals and drinks, especially for Oilers games. The Icehouse Burger is a must-try, perfectly seasoned and served with a side salad. The ambiance is game-night perfect, with a sound system that mimics Rogers Place, creating an exciting atmosphere. Situated in the heart of downtown's Ice District, the restaurant is located directly beside the famed Rogers Place, home of the Edmonton Oilers, making it an ideal place to enjoy the game with fellow fans. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a great dining experience. Guests can enjoy ice-cold beer and hot, fresh food while being just steps away from the game entrance. The buffalo chicken stacked nachos were praised as the best yet, and the spicy mango margarita is a must-try. Although the crowd can be lively, the music is exceptionally loud, which some feel caters more to a younger crowd. The Canadian Icehouse remains a choice spot for those looking to have fun while watching the Oilers or simply enjoying a night out.
