“If you’ve never been to D Spot Dessert Cafe, you’re genuinely missing out on one of Edmonton’s most memorable food experiences. The moment you walk in, the bright, upbeat decor and the smell of chocolate set the tone for a relaxed night out with friends.

The menu is the first thing that hits you. It’s huge—basically a fifteen‑page book stacked with wild desserts and a surprisingly solid lineup of savory dishes. Everything looks so good that choosing what to order becomes the hardest part of the visit. The items are a bit on the pricey side, but you can tell immediately that you’re paying for a full experience, not just a plate of food.

When the food arrived, it absolutely delivered. We started with the loaded nachos, which were ridiculous in the best way: a massive pile with enough toppings and melted cheese that every bite stayed interesting all the way to the bottom.

Dessert was where things really took off. I had the milk cake with caramel pearls and toffee bits, and it was fantastic—soft, rich, and just the right amount of crunch. My friends were equally locked in on their picks: the Perfect Pair skillet cookie, a giant warm chocolate chip cookie drenched in Lotus cookie butter and crumble with vanilla ice cream, and a red velvet cheesecake layering vanilla cheesecake with dense red velvet cake. The skillet cookie was such a hit that my buddy basically made it his mission to finish it, even though every bite pushed him further past whatever diet he thought he was on. He was determined, and watching him fight through it was half the entertainment.

The portions are huge, so we ended up taking leftovers home, and the late‑night snack round was just as good. Between the atmosphere, the menu size, the quality, and the overall experience, the night was a win. It’s easily one of the best spots in Edmonton for a group hangout or a late‑night dessert run, and we’ll definitely be back.“

Paid for the order, and the delivery guy, an older man with grey hair, after being tipped quite well for the delivery, proceeded to the next floor in the stairwell, and took a huge pee in the stairwell. I saw his delivery case on the upper stairs, hear him pee,, then he went off that floor down the elevator, and into the night. You sent I have never been more disgusted by the attitude of this man, he could have asked to use our bathroom, but instead chose to urinate in our stairwell. Called the restaurant, spoke with the manager, he said "Oh Shit", and hung up. You sent We have dealt with you and your restaurant for over 15 years, this delivery driver needs to be terminated, NOW!“

“Went with a friend I hadn't seen in a very long time & sat for 3 hours catching up. Service was great, they didn't rush us. We had appetizers & drinks, lots of healthy Mediterranean options, humus was delicious. Highly recommend. I will certainly be back. They have a great patio as well at the 97 location.“

Service is a bit strange as there are often one or two hard working individuals who greet and service me while 3-5 people are huddled around a computer concentrating on that for some reason.
No matter, as the pizza is great and that's why I go there.

“Don't let the paper plates fool you, the food absolutely slaps. As a matter of fact, keep the plate and bring a sharpie on your first visit. Draw something on it and leave your mark.

All that aside, everything about this place is great. It's definitely worth a visit, especially late at night.“

Pizza - We love Donair pizzas, and we had to try theirs and the price was a spot on. Flavor was really good, crust is not that fluffy and moist but was tasty and cooked very nicely. Donair meat was okay, mid. I would give 3.9/5

Butter chicken - This was amazing! Flavor is so good, and I know coz we’ve been cooking and serving it at work. The Naan/Pita bread included was delicious, soft moist and has flavor. Problem is there’s not much chicken, like little pieces and small portions. Expected way too much of it. I would give it 4/5.

Milkshake - They got the mango flavor alright. It was good. I give it a 4.5/5

Brownie melt - Brownie wasn’t moist and little hard. But it was really nice and enjoyable. I would give it a 4.7/5

“Cosmic makes a fluffy, thicker crust pie as opposed to thin Neapolitan and it’s a very satisfying chew. Very old school. I’ve tried several of their locations and this one on 109 Street near the U of A is by far the best. It’s a neighborhood institution. Their pizza is consistently excellent with generous toppings and cheese. The store is clean, staff is friendly and the value for dollar is exceptional, especially the walk-in specials.“

“I came here for dinner Saturday around 5-7 PM and had a great experience! We didn’t have a reservation, and there were a few people ahead of us, so we waited a couple of minutes while they were getting seated. The hostess was very kind and welcoming, helped us with the parking information and showed us where to register our license plate. We initially chose to sit outside but later asked to move inside, she kindly accommodated our request and helped us!
Our server was also amazing. She was very friendly, attentive, and consistently checked in to make sure everything was good. My partner and I shared a salad, then had two pizzas. It took a little while, but we were in no rush so we didn’t mind. The food was pretty good overall, although my pizza was a little burnt.The environment was upbeat, the music was great, and the employees all seemed happy and professional.
