“Bloom cookies always knows how to make a good cookie. They also make cookies with the added challenge of having no egg, no dairy, and no nuts. If I hadn't been told that there was no egg and no dairy, it would be nearly impossible to tell that there was anything different about them from a normal cookie. I would place them well above a normal cookie, they are one of my favorite go-to cookie stores. Whenever I have a business client that I need to impress, I always bring an assortment of Bloom cookies.

I love love their Staples like London fog, they're s'more cookies and their Ginger snaps. I also quite enjoy that they experiment with a few different things every week.

“I love coming to this cafe. Whether I decide to have food from their kitchen, a ready to go pastry, or a drink, I know that it's going to be made with care. It gets a little busy around lunch, I wish it was bigger, but it's a wonderful space. The staff are amazing, and it's fun to chat with them when they're less busy. They're very kind and all very good at their jobs. Definitely one of my favourites in the city for sure!“

“I came with my friend to get some drinks while we took a walk and we ended up coming back three times and taking home sandwiches. The hot coffee was reasonably priced, my Taro bubble tea was lovely and the Vietnamese Ice Coffee was delicious. My partner enjoyed the Hawaiian Grilled Cheese I brought back for him and my Brekkie sandwich was fantastically filling.

“Great quality pastries. Fluffy, light and their fillings are not too sweet which I appreciate. Im impressed by the elegance and well executed technique of their pastries. Their almond croissants are perfect. Bavarian cream donut is light and refreshing. There was only once that I wished their vanilla custard cruffin had more filling in it, and it tasted a bit more plain which was to be expected for that flavour. Blueberry cheesecake croissant was amazing.

Their selection changes - I’m waiting to try their crème brûlée croissant, crème brûlée tarts (wish they always had) flattened croissant and macroissant (with macarons).

Staple cafe downtown, always going back. Some say it’s over-priced, but you get the quality you pay for.
Their coffee could be better for the price you’re paying, but I go for the pastries.“

I had the lamb shank, the meat fell off the bone and made for a succulent and flavourful entree. The butterscotch cream pie for dessert was also delicious! “Came across this when visiting Canada Place. It's towards the back of the food court, so a little hidden. Was greeted by the owner as I walked by. He politely introduced all the pizzas that were on display. If a full individual size ($8.95) is too much for you, they do offer a half portion ($5.00), which I chose. “The one and only complaint I have is that they sell decaf. Bonnie saved my life today. I switched our subscription temporarily as we were going through more than usual, and when I switched back I somehow chose decaf. Decaf!?! It just isn't sustainable make-go juice. I emailed right away to see if we could exchange it after it arrived, but Bonnie managed to switch it out for me just in the much of time before Canada Post got there. Life. Saver. “Passed by for the first time today. Bought some sweet little cakey things, sambusas and an orange ball which was a boiled egg in mashed potatoes, all wrapped up in a zippy lil coating.
