“After hiking for three days in Jasper, I decided to drive three hours straight to Edmonton for a coffee and a bite to eat. Why did I do that you ask? Maybe it was my adhd impulsiveness, or the fact that La Crema Caffe’s popularity has echoed all the way from Edmonton to Montreal. No matter the reason, I just had to drop by for a visit. When I arrived, it felt as though it was a home away from home. Very cozy and relaxing cafe, makes you want to grab the biggest book you’ve got laying on the shelf at home, and staying there all day reading. The staff were super welcoming and felt as though we had all known each other for a long time, sort of a friendly visit. I ordered the cappuccino and spicy tuna sandwich and oulala they better hide the recipe cause I was going to unleash my inner Plankton and steal that Krabby Patty formula it was so good, complements to the chef! I highly recommend this cafe to not just anybody in St. Albert, but in all of Edmonton. Bring your parents, your partner, your friends, your kids, heck even your neighbour, and do yourself a favour and order a drink and a homemade good, and prepare to unwind like never before. Will definitely be returning every single time I’m in the area and am already looking forward to that moment.“

She loved playing in the little city and I loved the meaningful west end names as this is where I grew up. The vegan food was so delicious. I had the Buddha bowl - very fresh and the homemade dressing was very tasty. My granddaughter had the grill cheese and had no idea it was not regular cheese. This is a wonderful place to take young children and have healthy food.“

Their oat milk cortado was perfectly balanced, not watery like most places try to pull off, and the guy behind the counter actually took the time to explain their rotating single-origin beans without being pretentious about it. The exposed brick and big windows give it a nice low-key work vibe, I grabbed a window seat and got through an hour of emails no problem with solid wifi. Small space so it fills up fast around 10am, but worth squeezing in for the coffee alone.“
