“We were there on July 31, celebrating our 22nd anniversary. Hannah was our server and was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and curtiious . We enjoyed our dinner and weren’t rushed in any way. One thing I need to mention was that there were two ladies beside us but when it came to pay Hannah asked the one lady if everything was okay and how was her meal that lady was rude and made Hannah feel I’m sure very uncomfortable. Her response was quick in saying she didn’t like her meal the server ask why she said I just didn’t. Hannah went to her manager and explained that the lady was very unhappy with her meal, he came and ask if there was anything he could do she said no very abruptly. If a client doesn’t like her or his food they should say something about it instead of saying something after the fact. Hannah you were an amazing person. Don’t let people upset you because they might be having a bad day. Thank you hope to see you soon.”

“UPDATE: I wanted to update my review because Original Joe's reached out to me directly after hearing about the issue with my Uber Eats order. The General Manager was incredibly kind and apologetic, acknowledged that the quality of the food I received wasn't up to their standards, and offered to make things right.
I really appreciate a business that takes customer feedback seriously and actually follows up when something goes wrong. My original experience was disappointing, but the way they handled it afterward was excellent and definitely changed my impression. I'll absolutely give them another try. Great customer service and a really thoughtful response.

I ordered through Uber Eats and unfortunately the food arrived extremely soggy. The fries were basically inedible, and the buffalo chicken wrap was so soggy that the lettuce and everything inside had become unpleasant. For the price, I was really disappointed with the quality by the time it arrived. I contacted Uber Eats about the issue, but they would not do anything and blamed the restaurant.”

“Real food made with love. We just enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends. The appetizers, bruschetta, and calamari, were excellenet. A simple but delicious broccoli salad was a wonderful surprise. A very generous portion of a traditional and tasty Pollo parmigiana was my main and it was delicious. The creme brulee and tiramisu for dessert were prepared perfectly. Such a great meal, we will be back soon. Thank you Tony, Danielle, and your team for such a great dining experience.”

“This is my second time going Central Social Hall. I went in was greeted by a hostess who was lovely. She seated us right away.
The our waitress Alyssa came she was extremely friendly , which is always a bonus.
We had gone there for brunch .the food was delicious and presentation was beautiful . All the hallmarks of a great well thought out menu.
I was surprised with such good food and relaxing at atmosphere there were not more people there.

Twice in a row I was lucky enough to have Rose as my server. I cannot praise her enough! She was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Service was fast, and she made sure everything was perfect. The ambiance was clean and comfortable making it a great spot for both quick bites and relaxed meals. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and experience. I appreciate that they have gluten & dairy free options for appetizers, main courses and desserts. I’m hope they start offering vegan cheeses for their pizzas (and bring back their smoked salmon pizza that was to die for) I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others.”

I explained that I was in to pick up lunch for my kids as I had forgotten to order their hot lunch before the cut off date. I was about to pay, and without asking or expecting anything of the sort, was offered a large discount (50%) because that was what they charge to the schools. Wow! Also, when I was waiting to be helped I also overheard the manager offering to honour someone’s coupon even though it had expired. I was very impressed and left there feeling like I needed to share. “My wife and I just moved to St. Albert and were wandering around the downtown on a sleepy Sunday morning and decided to pop in to check out this lovely cafe. We greeted by the friendly staff and had a hard time choosing from the beautiful and varied desert display. Instead, we decided to have brunch after seeing the excellent quality of the treats.

The cafe is beautifully decorated, quaint and stylish with its French style. I checked out the attached high tea room and it was adorable as well. We will have to come back when my aunt visits us next month, as she will love it. The shop reminded us of Paris and the cakes and macarons in the fridge were stunning and looked of high quality.

The brunch turned out to be a great choice. I had the Arctic crepes and they were savoury, but not too rich with its hollandaise, smoke salmon, dill and briny capers. The chai latte was delicious as well. My wife had the salad and spinach and salmon quiche which was flaky and tasty. She loved my crepes, though and she would definitely have them next time.

We will definitely be back to try more at this lovely cafe! A very special experience.”

The woman that works there came over to my Mom and ask her if she meant to give 100 dollars for the tip. My Mom was so grateful to this kind woman for her caring heart to even ask if it was a mistake. She then gave her a refund. We were both so grateful to this lovely woman. “My much better half and my wonderful children took me out to St. Louis Bar & Grill for my birthday. I have never been despite living so close. I was not expecting much from a small pub chain. They exceeded my expectations for sure. We ordered: St. Louis Wings Chicago deep dish pizza (hot and honey sauce) 5pcs tenders meal with fries (St. Louis hot sauce) 1lb wings meal sub poutine add extra sub poutine (buffalo sauce) 2 pints beer 2 refillable soda pops I also asked for sides of the hot as hell sauce and St. Louis hot sauce Lastly they treated me to a free slider birthday cake (like an ice cream sandwich cake slice) All the food was actually really really good. I was surprised. The portions were great without being so big that you worried they were cutting costs and quality to do it. The service was also really good. And on top of it, all that food above (where I have leftovers still) was only $90. Not at happy hour, not on wing Tuesday, full bore regular price. I rarely find going out to be reasonably priced but this was an exception. I will most certainly be back. In fact I’m sending my teenager and his friends this weekend to tackle the $15 all you can eat angus burger deal 🙂. My only two areas of improvement: 1. Hot as hell sauce was fairly spicy but the flavour was just vinegary and had no real depth. Will not have that again unless it’s tweaked. 2. A place with so much eating by hand should add automatic taps and the foot grab door opening thing. Hard to keep hands clean turning off taps and exiting bathroom. Or switch to paper towels instead of blow dryers. Either or.”
