“Definitely a hidden gem. Only complaint is we waited for over 50 minutes and there was only one other table occupied when we walked in.The food was delicious, hot and more than enough as a serving. Their potato soup was the best I've had in a long time. Our server was friendly and efficient filling water, checking on us and remembering a takeout order before we left. Their breakfast looks so good and next on the agenda. Try this place out, you won't be sorry.“
“Top-notch customer service! They were so understanding of my gluten allergy and extremely accommodating! The lady that took my order was just the sweetest and most patient human ever.. same with the manager (or maybe the owner), she seemed very concerned of my allergy and was present the entire time supervising the staff and food handling.. she was so kind and just amazing! “I had arranged with Holly, the manager to host my boyfriend’s birthday party here for 19 people. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Holly was extremely quick to respond to my Emails and arrangements. The wait staff were incredible! Fast, friendly, efficient. The food is SOOOO GOOD! Everyone enjoyed their food. The portions look small, but it’s REALLY FILLING!!!! And worth every dollar. By far my favourite restaurant to date. Others at the table said XIX nineteen is in their top 5 favourite restaurants. “They offer a great dining experience here, and the marinated meats are absolutely delicious, I was very satisfied with the food, made it simple, and went with the Meat Lovers for 2 people, and that was very tasty all around.While the servers were friendly, they did leave us without water for a good part of the meal and any restaurant can easily solve that by leaving a pitcher on the table, that should be standard across the board.Only thing I would have liked to have another option for dessert (apart of the combo meal) as I do not enjoy smores and it doesn't work that well with the table after having just cooked all your meat, they could provide another option like a brownie or ice cream.I very much enjoyed it and would very much like to try the Calgary location“

“We chose Filistix as the venue for my Mom’s surprise 65th Birthday and we were thrilled with our experience. The food was TERRIFIC! They paid homage to classic Filipino cuisine with a South Asian twist. On top of that, they were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and gave amazing service. We know how hard it can be to get Titos and Titas outside of their traditional expectations when it comes to Filipino food, but our whole group of 28 LOVED the food and left satisfied and impressed with their whole dining experience. “I always order the deluxe dragon roll and the Japanese curry rice bowl. The pork is well cooked every time and the curry has a deep and delicious flavour. Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Edmonton for fast food of sit down restaurant quality. edit: I just came to the Whyte Ave location and not only was the customer service by the owners superb in how they cared about the quality of my order but I just tried their tofu and green tea froyo too which ended up being great! Super smooth. Tofu is my favourite protein source but even I was skeptical about tofu froyo. Definitely recommend!“
“This is my go-to hot pot place that never disappoints. The southside location has its ups and downs and but Chinatown location is always consistently good. My hot pot experience at other restaurants haven’t always been all that pleasant where they offer low quality, tasteless, cardboard-like meat. But Chinatown Asian Express always serve fresh, good quality meat and veggies. You must try their homemade fish mesh - my fav.“
“I was craving ramen one day and decided to try a new place. I got the tonkatsu ramen with extra noodles and it hit the spot. I chose the wrong type of pork though, it did not have enough fat on it which I personally feel really pulls the ramen together.The service was quick and concise, and the atmosphere was very casual. To add, they only take debit and cash, which I though was a little weird but not the end of the world.Good spot for ramen!“
“I came here with my family after some appointments and we each got a delicious plate of food. My toddler rather enjoyed the noodles and carrots and meat, along with the juice box, while we adults liked our plates as well. There was ample parking and the kid liked watching the staff cook. I have long enjoyed Oodle Noodle and this location is no exception. Clean and bright, there is limited seating but it seemed ample for the space.“

“Very nice cashier very patient with my picky decisions.Kid-friendliness: The kid friendliness was perfect so many options for all ages.The thought of choosing is so hard but the cashier was extremely patient the noodle options can go from small and curly to big and straight.Every single option is honestly a good pick as they cook it exactly as you would imagine and the taste really nails for the final thought of what you think of your food. The flavour and way it was cooked was exactly how you would imagine it should look and taste.In conclusion I believe this place is a perfect option for any time of day and great for all ages as there is so many options and great staff working here.“
