“Last Saturday, my family and I went to Mr. Mikes in Stony Plain for an early Mother’s Day supper. What we expected to be a relaxing evening quickly became incredibly stressful when my father-in-law suddenly became very sick not long after we arrived. The staff at Mr. Mikes handled the situation with a level of care and compassion that honestly left a lasting impression on all of us. While my mother-in-law and myself were outside helping him and eventually getting him to the hospital, Manager Kelli stepped in immediately and made sure he was looked after the entire time. She brought water, cold cloths, sick bags, and most importantly treated him with genuine kindness and concern during a very difficult moment. Inside the restaurant, our server Grace was equally amazing. She stayed attentive to my wife and our toddler, helped keep our daughter occupied, checked in regularly, and made sure my wife knew what was happening outside. In the middle of a very emotional situation, her calm and caring attitude made a huge difference. What stood out most was how invested the entire team was in making sure our family was okay. After my mother-in-law left for the hospital with my father-in-law, the staff asked what they had wanted to order because Kelli had already decided she wanted to personally send meals to them at the hospital so they would at least have something to eat while waiting there. Once we were able to confirm their order, everything was taken care of right away. Our own meals were excellent, but the kindness didn’t end there. Before we left, we found out that Kelli had personally brought the meals to the hospital herself and checked in on my in-laws while she was there. As we were getting ready to leave, we thanked Kelli for everything she had done. She then asked who had paid the bill, and when I told her I had, she handed me an envelope with the money for my in-laws’ meals because she had wanted to cover the cost herself. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced hospitality like this before. The staff at Mr. Mikes showed our family such genuine empathy and generosity during one of the most overwhelming nights we’ve had in a long time. Because of this experience, Mr. Mikes in Stony Plain will absolutely be our go-to spot anytime we’re craving a steak or burger. Huge thanks to Kelli, Grace, and the entire staff for going far beyond what anyone would ever expect. Your kindness meant more to our family than you probably realize.”

“We are regulars from Spruce Grove. By far the best pizza around. The best ingredients and perfect pizza everytime. Been going there for 5 years and won’t order anywhere else. The owner always has a smile on his face and truly takes pride in what he does. Don’t bother going anywhere else. Cosmic Stony Plain truly never disappoints.”

“This is our favourite spot for take out, and Chinese food. We always do the meal deal, where you choose x amount of entrees (per amount of people) which also comes with egg roll, or spring roll with fried rice. Our favourite dish that we could probably eat 5 days a week would be the spicy Shanghai noodle dish. The woman knows me & my family, and always asks where so and so is when one of us comes without them. She is so friendly and sweet. 2 stars for atmosphere because it’s very outdated, needs renovations, and the news is always on TV.”

They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is very good, some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.”

Had an excellent experience ordering a party platter of mini cinnamon rolls, and holy smokes they tasted phenomenal as well 😍👏🏻 I was late picking up my order and missed her opening hours, but she was kind enough to drive back to the bakery just for me to still get my order before the party!! Plus, threw in a complimentary bun for the bday boy on top of it. The rolls were so delicious by themselves, and we all LOVED the different flavors of whipped icing as well. We will 100% be back for more in the future, highly recommend 😊”

“Finally got around to trying this place and I was pleasantly surprised! I had a meat lovers sandwich and an iced matcha latte. The sandwich was packed with meat and soooo flavourful. Great value for the price compared to other sandwich shops I’ve been too. The matcha latte was also really delicious and I love that they had coconut milk. I will definitely be back!”

“I love little seizures so much! I went there at ate in the morning and the cashier said my wait time would be 30-40 minutes, so I went to the bathroom for about 20 minutes and when I came out my pizzas were already made. When I was walking out a very rude man bumped into me and the cashier cussed him out for me and threw a pizza box at his head like a frisbee☺️ If only they had some nicer veggies on the menu.”

“Haven't seen my daughter much throughout the passed 7-8 years as I bcame very sick. So with that said, I love spending time with her. So her home being in close proximity of my doc's new clinic, I could not pass ip the opportunity to touch base with Trinity. We met and she lead me to A&W, where I bought us lunch.
Food was good, exactly as ordered. Fast, convenient, and promptly delivered to our table. All good times were shared by all.”

“I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to this time. The gentleman working at the cashier (around 5 this evening) went above and beyond. While I was there, I saw him help a couple of customers who were struggling with their cash—he patiently supported them through counting it. Later, when they had trouble with the pop machine, he noticed right away and stepped in to help again. His kindness and awareness made a real difference.”
