“What an awesome place to eat! The view was spectacular, the food was amazing and the service was excellent! Best seafood chowder ever, the oysters were huge and delicious, the halibut was coated perfectly and the small touches, like iced tea made from scratch and homemade gravy and coleslaw just made the meal that much more! “My go-to place for dimsum! We used to go to Tasty Noodle and found that place is overpriced now. Lucky Kitchen aways seats available when I go, attentive staff, quality is good. Only once have they forgotten an item we chose on our menu but after it occurred, they kept coming to the table to make sure we got everything we ordered. We always go here for dimsum. Very reasonable prices.“
“Love me some Bei Wei. Of course, I have certain things I love, such as the lobster dumplings and my new fav the green beans with dried or fried small fish I believe. I was worried it was going to be fishy it isnt . It has onions which goes well with the beans and fish. Most people who go to Bei wei are of Asian descent, so they may also know this is a good place (wink). More authentic dishes are the way to go here, although their ginger beef is pretty good. They have dim sum at lunchtime by the way. Not a big menu for dim sum, but like I said loooooove the lobster, which, by the way is shrimp dumplings. Named lobster I think for the shape, maybe. I am there alot!“
“We have been to the Keg many times and the service and food is usually excellent. Unfortunately the food this visit was poor. Both steaks were tough and not enjoyable, one so tough that it was left for the garbage. The Keg has always been a family favourite so hopefully this was a one time disappointment. We will try again someday and hope for better food quality.“
“Our friend in Edmonton recommended for us to try some authentic Vietnamese food at this Co Chin Saigon Restaurant. We decided to drop by for lunch as we were hungry for some Pho Noodles. We ordered Papaya Salad (shredded green papaya topped with roasted peanuts… this has fresh flavours and crunchy textures with sweet savoury dressing and chillies on the side), Pho Noodle Soup (medium rare beef, brisket and meatballs with freshly prepared broth), Spicy Bun Bo Pho Noodles (spicy beef noodle soup with sliced beef brisket, beef shank, pork boneless rolled shank, cube of congealed pork blood [we requested not to have this item in our soup] and topped with spicy lemon grass sauce. We also ordered Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio (grilled lemongrass pork, homemade pork spring rolls with cucumbers, lettuce and pickle, roasted peanuts and green onions). Everything tasted delicious and appetizing!“
“It's been such a long time since I last went to Vons. But tonight, when I stepped into their "new" Jasper location, they really reminded me of why I used to love going there. My girlfriend had never been to Vons so I wanted to take her out on a special date night. She very much enjoyed the night and will likely come back with her friends. Alan, our server, was very much enjoyable to speak with and professional. Would definitely come back because of him and the food.Unfortunately the table adjacent to us wasn’t really fond with their service. I will say this, this is not your typical franchise steakhouse. Be prepared to spend some $. The behavior exhibited by the guests was utterly appalling and reeked of a sense of entitlement because of THEIR mistake. I really have to disagree with the idea that the customer is always right. It's just not accurate in my opinion. In any situation, it's crucial to consider multiple perspectives before passing judgment. I highly recommend giving Vons Steakhouse a try before making any conclusions.Parking: Paid surface lot on the south side of building. There is also street parking available during certain times. Near by parkades if you would like to park underground.“

“We stopped in for lunch today. This location has transformed and the renovations are fantastic. It appears bigger but it is the same square footage as before. The service is definitely upgraded. The two gentlemen who served us today made sure we felt welcome. It was great to see the bar taps letting us know right away there was draft and it was perfectly cold. I had a dark ale and my guy had the usual. The fish was perfectly battered. I had the combination fish and two kinds of shrimp. I am now a fan of coconut shrimp. It was too much so now I have tomorrow’s lunch. We couldn’t resist the deconstructed carrot cake that came in a cute jar. Delicious! I didn’t take pics because we left our phones in the car. The place was pretty busy and while we were there we did not see plates going back into the kitchen which is an indication everyone was as happy as we were. Joey’s always had good food IMO but the inside felt a little too fast food. Not now, Joey has grown up and it feels adult. This place will be on our usual list. A unmatched Alberta Beef experience that he described as “life changing.”.
