My first time at the black pearl tonight and it was a great experience. Cold SEAFOOD tower was excellent along with our cocktails. The cocktails were very refreshing. The waiter was funny and had great conversations with him. I will be going to this restaurant every time I come to Edmonton. Hands down one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever been to. You got to eat here.
I was surprised at the casual pub-like atmosphere of this very expensive seafood restaurant. I always thought it was a little more upscale. I didn’t mind it, but I prefer a quieter dining experience.The Gorgonzola Mussels were very good and paired well with the white wine I ordered.

My mother-in-law loves seafood and we wanted to treat her to a special meal for her birthday. We were not disappointed! Excellent quality and delicious food, and the atmosphere was great.
