“First time coming to this place for dinner. It’s not a huge restaurant but a nice size. You can eat by the bar or sit in booths. The food was delicious! My hubby had the Steak Frites and I had the 2 piece east coast fried fish with fries. Lots to choose from the menu, including drinks. We will definitely be coming back to eat here. The atmosphere is warm and the staff are friendly.Parking: There is parking, but there is also many other shops in this area. I’m sure the parking is busy during the day but in the evening it was quite empty.“
“Nice food, well prepared. Service is awesome. BUT if you're looking for a quiet place, you're not coming here. Open seating caused a buzz in the restaurant where your convo will have to be on the louder side if you're in a larger seating. 1 on 1 is perfectly fine. All in all a good place for “
“We had a lovely dining experience here. We ordered a few shareable items and enjoyed each one. The thai beef tartare, squash, fried chicken and halloumi fries were all delicious and full of flavor. The tartare was my personal favorite. We finished our meal with the coconut key lime pie that was absolutely divine. We would definitely recommend this place and will go back!“
“First time trying Pip and it was fantastic! It's a bit loud and service was slow but they were busy.Best eggs benny I've ever had. Prices aren't outrageous, and the portions are good. The Benny had so much shaved ham, it was refreshing after so many places seem to really skimp on toppings. The hollandaise was delicious and the potatoes were had the home cooked flavor you want in breakfast potatoes! Oh and the best part?? The egg was actually cooked true to medium, no runny whites, slightly cooked edges of yolk but runny middle..finally!!! I Will be back!“
“Check this place out!! Incredible cocktails, fresh ingredients (best blackberries I’ve ever had), and the new owners are incredible hosts.Took my friends here and they all thought that it was the best cocktail bar that they have been to in Edmonton.Try the Zombie cocktail and the espresso martini is to die for. Ask for lights (they have light up coasters that enhance the experience). The owner spoke to us personally and asked for our names. When we left the bar, there was a digital sign that had all of our names on it and thanked us personally for our patronage.Book this place out for your classy birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and work functions. And, while you’re at it, make it your local spot to grab a drink. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and this place deserves to become an Edmonton establishment. Why go to the Pint, Central Social Hall, On The Rocks, or O2s when you can go to incredible local places like this that make Edmonton a better city to live in.I will be back! Thanks!!“
“Love this spot. Classy taco night, fresh Ingredients, great value for the money especially the burrito. The chocolate torte is one of the best desserts in Edmonton. Great staff and cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a cute date night or casual lunch with friends. They are also wheelchair accessible ❤️“
“Came for dinner with my boyfriend and we were both incredibly impressed with the amazing customer service! Our server Daniel was friendly, outgoing, and helped me with some menu recommendations. He He went above and beyond for us with taking a photo of us on our date and a little dessert- the service was absolutely stellar here. The atmosphere was fun and the decor and lighting really set the mood. The pricing is a little high, and I would consider some of the items like the spam musubi to be overpriced, however the food is delicious and fresh and the Pulled Brisket sandwich I had was definitely worth it. They do not skimp on the meat and the portions are very generous. The in-house fry sauce is especially yummy. Recommend the Mochiko chicken bites and Pulled Brisket sandwich. Tiki Tiki also serves a mean Dole Whip. Thanks again Daniel!“
“This is the place I was looking for long time in Canada which reminds Japan a lot. I’ve tried many Japanese restaurants but most of them are westernized (in a good way for sure) but here, I can feel the respect for ordinary Japanese izakaya style. I really love the atmosphere and tastes are wonderful. I definitely come back.If you’re looking for authentic Japanese restaurant/izakaya, here’s the place !!“
“The sushi was delicious, fresh and expertly prepared. The prawn crunch rolls are a must-try for any sushi lover!Outstanding service from Salma! Friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Made my dining experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommend!“
“The dim lighting and beautiful dark interior gives a unique, trendy, and intimate setting. The food is a modern creative take on traditional authentic Italian favourites, and was fresh and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a try!Parking: Free street parking during evenings“
“This place absolutely blew my mind. They have the best outdoor patio in the summer time and a great winter patio as well. The food was absolutely amazing. The vibes here are great, especially when they play the 2000s R&B music. Always my favorite will definitely continue to support this venue.“
“I’ve been to Honi Honi several times and always had an amazing time. Honestly the best drinks I’ve had in Edmonton, and they certainly don’t skimp on the alcohol. It’s a lot of fun, the service is always top notch. I find the design and decor to be lots of fun.The food has always been sub par in my opinion, but I don’t let that reflect on them as it’s from the place next door. The last time I went it did seem to improve though.Painkillers are my absolute favourite and I look forward to going back“
“My favourite little sandwich shop in Edmonton. Been here more times than I can count. Tip: the sandwiches are huge!!! We usually order a sandwich to share with fries or soup then some sides to share. Love the chicken nuggets and the house soup.“
“So to start off we have been wanting to come for a while but the hype calmed down quickly it seemed after opening so we had forgot until last week. To start off the food we got was all pretty good. Loved the mushrooms, tartare was one of the better ones in the city besides the portion being extremely small for the price when compared to other high end restaurants in the city, The Gnudi could use seasoning but still tasted really good. We would have gotten more but the menu really didn’t have anything that jumped out especially for the price. That’s what I want to get to next. The menu needs to be printed, it’s a super awkward read and for a restaurant aiming to be higher end having everything in one tiny book is weird. The ordered was super weird and having brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert on the page and not very uniform made it less appealing. Then the atmosphere, it was very reminiscent of its past life but some nice updates, what was rough was walking in to staff all together on the far side of the bar and on phones texting. (Really kills the vibe that is being attempted). This spot has tons of potential but from our experience and what we have heard from friends it is the little things that make it not be a must try again in town. Hopefully some tweaks can be made but will definitely come back to try brunch“
“Loved the ambience of this spot! From being able to watch the chefs, and all the artwork, this place is definitely ig worthy! The food and service also did not disappoint. The chicken in my salad was moist and flavourful. The fried chicken in the Mac and cheese was well seasoned and super crispy, however the cheese sauce was what you would expect. Slightly bland but still worth a try. Our server was attentive and friendly. 4/5, will definitely be returning!“
“We just went to Stingray for the first time because we heard great things. And we were not disappointed. The food was phenomenal w/ very generous portions and even more phenomenal was the service. Jill is an exceptional server. There are countless restaurants in the city that rival the quality of the food and ambience here, but what they lack is what Jill offers, which puts Stingray in its own category. We highly recommend Stingray, and other restaurants should take note of the level of service ;-)“
“I've been meaning to try out Sodo for awhile and I'm happy to report that it lived up to my expectations! I met up with a friend around 5:30 for an early dinner on a Thursday night and we were the only people there. I was surprised as I'd heard reservations are recommended as it can get busy. It turns out we were just early though. By the time we left a couple hours later, the place had filled up with a large group who were clearly regulars. The vibe completely changed from a quiet dinner spot to a great hangout venue. I'd definitely like to come back on a Friday to see how it feels when it's really busy. They have a fairly small food menu but it has a few options for vegetarians to choose from. The spicy habanero pasta was on special and I really enjoyed it. I also tried 2 of their house cocktails, both of which happened to be set on fire tableside in some capacity. The War & Peace was my favourite - scotch, bourbon, St. Germain, and cherry whiskey, smoked with applewood - very smooth and smoky.“
“My wife's co-worker lives in Edmonton and recommended Partake. I came on a Sunday around 545pm. Really really nice overall experience. The service team gave great insight on the menu, they also shared that it was "Sunday Sips 'N Snacks" which meant featured cocktails and some food specials. Lucky me! Part of me wishes I had asked for the name of the server working behind the bar to give credit where credit is due but on the other hand, if I gave an individual shout out it could over shadow an completely awesome job by this entire team. I'll definitely be back here. All dishes I had tonight were really nice. My personal ranking would be;1. Devilled Egg2. Schnitzel Stack3. Sausage4. Potato“
“Perfect vibe for after work drinks with friends? The space feels open yet private, so you can get lost in conversation and sip the time away. Wish the bar stools were a bit more cozy, but thats not enough to deter me from coming right back to drink on them?Seriously, this is a great place?Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sushi rolls ?“
“【MIX】is the key word of this restaurant.1. Environment: Chinese style decoration mix played Japanese Anime, it's a kind of weird.2. Menu: (Whoever wrote the menu must speak Cantonese.)some word is neither pinyin nor English. Foreigners can't understand what it means, and Chinese people(especially for mandarin speaker) have to think about it for half a day.3. Atomsphere: restaurant mix with bar, you can tell by the way the waiters dress and the DJ in the restaurant. But most people come here for a date or to meet up with friends, and the music is a little too loud for good conversation4.Food: Really Good! It's a combination of Chinese and Western.“
“We had a great night at El Jardin. Our service was top notch. Our server gave us a tour of the menu and was very attentive all evening. The chimi prawns, achiote chicken skewers, the guac and chips, the fish tacos, and the churros were all amazing! And the mojito was to die for. We are already planning when we will be back next!“
“We have never been to Mercer Tavern and as we drive by daily we always threaten each other with, “we have to eat there” . About 5:30 PM July 13th we walked the two blocks from our condominium in the Ice District and upon arriving we were greeted by a very friendly young lady who asked if we had a preference of indoor or outdoor seating and as we always see people gather on there outdoor patio, the choice was obviously to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Table seating is picnic style setting on artificial grass in a very spacious area and also there are smaller tables available with wooden Andderock chairs. Our server Erynn was extremely friendly and helpful and when we couldn’t makeup our minds on a menu selection Erynn suggested a steak sandwich accompanied by fries and gravy. The steak arrived and was served on a cutting board, sliced in pieces, a top of a very tasty toasted half bun. It was excellent and the fries were over the top. As we left we were thanked by staff members for stopping in and as I expressed to one server, it won’t be our last time.“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Clementine, a fantastic cocktail bar in Edmonton. The ambiance was charming, creating the perfect setting for a night out. The cocktails were not only creatively crafted but also exceptionally delicious. A specialty shout-out to the talented bartender, Stephen, whose expertise and friendly demeanor elevated our experience. His recommendations were spot-on, showcasing a deep understanding of mixology. The attention to detail and passion for crafting unique drinks truly set Clementine apart. If you're looking for a memorable night with exceptional cocktails and outstanding service, Clementine is the place to be. Can't wait to visit again!“
“I went there with co-workers during on one of the dining week day. We all love the food! Some people may find certain dish not spicy enough, but we like it (thats why I give 4 starts... actually I want to give 4.5 starts. Indian food, most people wpuld expect alittle more spicy.). The naan is really good too! (forgot to take some of the photos - naan and mango chicken).“
“Absolutely fantastic! Went in for the first time and really enjoyed the menu for Downtown Dining week. Booked a reservation and was seated promptly when we arrived on time. The wait time to place our first order was a bit on long, but our server was very nice and constantly checked on us throughout our courses afterwards. They also explained the aspect of each course so it was more enjoyable to eat our meals, knowing what went into them!We started off with their All Inclusive from their Sober Cat menu, and it's something that we'd definitely order again when we go back!Ordered bone marrow (very melt-in-your-mouth), their DOSC ceasar salad (great flavour and crunch), 8 oz Smoked Juniper and Coffee Rubbed Flat Iron (a bit tough of a cut but enjoyed the deeper flavour it gave) and Rigatoni a la Vodka (had a pleasant kick of heat that we didn't expect but really enjoyed). Ended things off with their Chocolate Pave that was very rich and decadent, but we couldn't finish it as we were full from the previous courses. Loved it! Would visit again!“
“I won an Earls gift card a while ago so my mum & I decided to use it for my birthdaythis weekend. The food was spectacular, and so was the service! Sharen, the server, who took care of us, was outstanding! She had a table of 20 people and still managed to check in on us a few times and engaged in meaningful conversation. We are grateful to have met her, and for this experience overall!“
“Had an amazing experience hosting a student club event. Vance and his team made sure the event ran smoothly; even helping out with parking. Highly recommended; it’s reasonably priced and a great space for people to interact especially for networking nights!!Parking: After 6 pm the parking is only 5$ for the evening and if you run into any troubles Vance and the building managers are more than happy to help out“
“Food was spectacular! We had the beet done 3 ways to start ..just OMG! I ordered the boneless short rib with mushroom risotto and red wine demi. It was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right. Everything we ordered was superb, Dave ( our server) was so knowledgeable, can't wait to go back.“
“Stopped in today on a whim while walking the dog and WOW! This place has a wonderfully creative and extensive beverage menu. A good spot to meet a friend because there is something for everyone. One of the best rose tea latte’s I’ve ever had.“
“Booked a table here during Downtown Dining Week as we wanted to try something new. When you are looking at it from the outside it doesn’t look like much, however when you enter the tiny doorway you are welcomed by a warm atmosphere and the amazing smell of steak being cooked over a wood fire. Our waitress, Pamela was superb and allowed us plenty of time to enjoy each course without any rush. The first course, the caramelized Brussel sprouts were amazing! I’m already making plans to bring my mom to try them! The steak frites were delicious, seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. We ended up having to take the sticky toffee pudding home as there just wasn’t enough room, but it made a great breakfast the next morning! Definitely would recommend, and a special thanks to Pamela for her outstanding hospitality!“
“I had the pleasure of visiting The Bower this past weekend for a friends 40th birthday party and I must say it was phenomenal to see this place so busy and well attended. As a non drinker the bartenders and staff were super considerate to my needs and made me feel welcome the whole night. The room is very well manicured and has a very intimate vibe. The music was banging as I remember it 15+ years ago. Kudos to Blair and his staff for an amazing evening and wishing them continued success.“
“Finally after 12 years of living in Canada, we found REAL AUTHENTIC TACOS MEXICANOS!!! We had the pleasure of meeting Mayte and her wonderful family at a farmers market once and today we finally had pleasure of eating at their delicious restaurant! Didn't took pictures of all the food we had as each time you took a bite was like feeling back at home, Mexico ❤ I extremely recommend Frida Urban Taqueria. #1 taqueria in all Edmonton. Thanks to Nathan for amazing service and all the laughs. And once again to the owner Mayte for the best Mexican food in all Edmonton! Wishing you guys all the best and for many many more victories!!! We will be back very soon!“
“We went on Sunday for the all day happy hour. The atmosphere was really cool and food came out fast. Best of all was the service! Sara was a treat and made some great recommendations. The mango cauliflower is a must try. We will be returning!“
“Wow! Best dinner out I've had in years! We had the Roasted Jalapeno Hummus, Quesadilla de Pollo & the Pollo Asado as well as the Grilled Pina Colada dessert -- all stellar, tasty and exceptional!Devyn was personable, courteous and attentive -- congrats on having such a fine server representing the restaurant. We will definitely be back and the underground free parking doesn't hurt either!“
“We stopped over at Smoke BBQ + Bar on a Saturday evening after an Oilers win! We had the $65 Sharables Experience and loved every bit of it!We started with the Riblets which were delicious and fall off the bone tender. They were also much larger than expected. Bonus! The Riblets were followed by an amazing platter of smoked brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, Louisiana Andouille Pork Sausage, and the sides of Brussel Sprouts, delicious fries, and coleslaw. We finished our meal with Beinets (no sauce as we are dairy free). An amazing ? and delicious experience for certain! Thanks to the staff at Smoke BBQ +Bar for taking care of us, and to Downtown Dining Week as well for making this off menu platter available.Note: I won a GC for the $65 Sharables Experience.Dietary restrictions: The staff was wonderful in addressing our no dairy requirements!“
“Food was good, and atmosphere is lovely. Service was not good, waitress was slow in checking on us and putting our orders through so the food did not come out in a timely manner or seamlessly and we found ourselves waiting a while between courses. Very disappointed that waitress did not acknowledge my booking request; I had booked the table for my husbands birthday celebration and selected this on the open table booking. I also added in the bookin to write a happy birthday note on the dessert when it came out to surprise my husband, but this did not happen and it seemed the waitress didn't look at the reservation all together. Overall disappointing service, which ruined the experience for us.“
“The Alchemy bar offers an exquisite experience with its astounding cocktails that tantalize the senses. Vally and Ren, the standout bartenders, elevate the experience with their expertise and charisma. Their artistry in mixology is unparalleled, crafting drinks that are both innovative and delicious. Their passion shines through in every creation, delivering not just beverages but an unforgettable journey. Alchemy bar is a haven for cocktail enthusiasts, where exceptional drinks and the mastery of Vally and Ren combine to create a truly remarkable outing.“
“Would give a rating of 6/10 overall. We LOVE Parlour and go there monthly so are very familiar of what a Century Group restaurant can offer. We have also frequented MKT and LUX regularly. There are no happy hour specials or any other specials. For the 104 street neighbourhood the restaurant is in, this is unheard of. The service was 10/10. The wine options were 10/10 lots of options in various price ranges. The appetizers were 10/10 we had the steak tartare and the salmon crudo. The mains were the weak point. We had a Croque madame which was bland with very over salted fries and a steak frites with a very over salted steak and fries. Could not taste the peppercorn sauce over the salt. There is an opportunity for change as they have so much to offer.“
“Went here for a welcome dinner for a friend visiting from Halifax. Braven presented him with some A5 Waygu beef expertly prepared. A unmatched Alberta Beef experience that he described as “life changing.”. Sorry for the lack of a photo all the meals were a feast for the eyes and we didn’t hesitate for photography.Highly recommend the divine Braven experience.“
“Came in for a date night and WOW was it fantastic. Right from the front door the Earls WEM team were incredibly hospitable and even remembered me from my last visit! Happy Hour appetizers were excellent and the truffle parmesan chicken was to die for. We even had the lounge manager Christina stop by and talk about (our new favourite) wine! Will definitely be back!“
“Came in for late night happy hour, service was amazing. Had the yuzu tuna tataki, such a good appetizer to start off. Also had the happy hour sangrias that CANNOT be matched the fruit in it was amazing and everything looked and tasted so good!“
“Sat at the bar for sangria and truffle friesEmerson was the bartender and she was SO personable! Devona the manager on duty delivered my fries to me and was so sweet, checking in to see if everything was good!100/10 would come again! Love this place!“
