“We just had our anniversary dinner here last night. (we celebrate it here every year !) and I’d like to give a special shout-out to our server, Mourad! He was simply fantastic who made sure our anniversary celebration was memorable. The food was great as usual. We ordered our usual picks, Spicy mussels for appetizer followed by Salmon & Prawns for myself and Veal Scaloppine for my spouse. The wine ? was excellent. Sorrentino at St. Albert is our favourite restaurant and at every special occasions we dine here & Mourad just made our dining experience twice more enjoyable! “Real food made with love. We just enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends. The appetizers, bruschetta, and calamari, were excellenet. A simple but delicious broccoli salad was a wonderful surprise. A very generous portion of a traditional and tasty Pollo parmigiana was my main and it was delicious. The creme brulee and tiramisu for dessert were prepared perfectly. “I still don't know how I haven't left a review here yet. La Crema Café is an adorable coffee shop in St Albert, worth the while driving across Edmonton for a coffee, snack or lunch. Always loved the vibes here, especially in the summer with the patio they have. Well located too so you can go on a stroll along the river after coffee. Definitely recommend!“

“First time here tonight and won’t be our last! DELICIOUS Italian food. I ordered the rigatoni with like a creamy type Rose’ sauce and meatballs. Legit fantastico. Nice portion as it was incredibly filling (I over stuffed for sure) and it was one of the best pasta sauces I’ve tasted. My husband ordered one of the pizzas and it was tasty and the crust was perfect. Great atmosphere and wait staff was attentive and fast. Half priced wines are on Wednesdays. “I love it here. I've had the salmon entrée several times, the Gorgonzola pasta but my go to is the de Bosco with gnocchi and the Panzanella salad. Delicious food. Generous portions. The have increased their prices a bit in the last couple of years but I think everything's just starting to cost more.
There was a couple of times that I went where I noticed that portion size was suffering shrinkenomics but then when I went back again and it was not the same situation.

I'm glad they give you lots of food.
I don't mind paying a dollar more to have a generous full serving!
The ambiance is great. I love sitting in thebooths. There's lots of entertainment outside on the sidewalk being downtown Edmonton if you know what I'm saying.
The place has a great vibe ...it's active with both younger and older and people that just appreciate a fantastic Italian eatery.
The Zenari family recipes that have withstood the test of time. I'm just so glad that the next generation has kept these recipes alive and opened up such a lovely place to eat.“

“We were party of 5 and walk in, there were few empty tables in the Tuesday evening so the restaurant is pretty popular. All the staff was so friendly to our 7 years old kid, she even got crayons and some coloring sheet to draw while waiting for food so at the end of our night she was adoring them. We ordered a lot of food because did not expect portions to be this huge and so delicious for this price. I also wanted to mention how great waiter Bella was, all my family loved her, we got more than enough attention that could not but please. It was our first and definitely not the last time being in Sorrentino. The best restaurant in the whole West end .

“Very nice romantic atmosphere, fine dining, great food. Except the Aragosta Risotto. The risotto is delicious, but be aware, the "whole lobster tail" is not lobster at all. It's a very small, 2 inches long tail of a langostino, size of a prawn. For the price of the dish there should be at least 3 of them, or just serve a real whole lobster tail.“

“I Love Love Love this place , The staff are super friendly, the place has that old fashioned warm feel and look, The food is AMAZING, and They have the best pesto sauce in the world. The price is affordable and you get so much food! Unlimited Bread, Soup or salad, beverage and Ice cream is included with your meal! Hands down cannot be beat!

Also Chelsea is an AWESOME Server, super friendly and personable, She very attentive to guest request, the only server I've had that offered me cream or milk, sugar or honey for my tea! I love that she explained things!

“I ordered from here cuz I saw you can make customized pasta dishes. There is a regular and veggie option. OMG it's so good! I got gnocchi with cream sauce, lots of veggies (spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, sundried-tomatoes, artichoke hearts) and gorgonzola. This will be my goto from now on. It's so nice to be able to get exactly what I'm craving.
Also that San Benedetto Iced Tea is really good!

Book a reservation. Do not just walk in. It will be highly likely you will not get a seat, even at the bar. Recommend looking at the menu before hand to decipher the dishes. The menu doesn’t read in self explanatory terms in the sense that it is very Italian. Not a bad thing but can be overwhelming never been there before. Check the photos in google reviews and Instagram to give you an idea of dishes and how they are presented. Once the ordering is out of the way sit and relax. Enjoy the cocktail or glass of wine by candlelight as you wait for eats. It takes a little while but that’s part of the experience. What can be frustrating from time to time is the service. With the understanding of how crazy busy this place is most of the time I let it slide. Most servers will take note of wait times on food and provide you with a status update without being asked. Unfortunately during my latest experience the couple sat next to me at the bar after I was seated put their drink order in before us. Got the drinks before us. Then even ordered before us which resulted in them getting some food before us. I feel like there’s just not enough staff maybe considering the high demand for service in an environment in which you’re paying a premium for the entire dining experience. Just have patience. That’s what I’d suggest dining here for the first time or 10th time haha

Overall will come back. Will book a reservation. Will bring friends! Will eat all the fonduta agnolotti, sage butter and parmigiano ! Aka the little pillows of happiness lol
