Good place but closes earlier than 5 on Saturdays. Tried to go there on Aug 22 at 3:45 and it was closed
Absolutely adore this place. Every time I come back home to Edmonton I eat here multiple times. Absolutely delicious sandwiches. Hearty, flavorful soups. Great coffee. Leo is always so friendly and welcoming as well. Cannot recommend more highly.
Delicious sandwiches, amazing iced coffee, and a cozy atmosphere! Everything tasted fresh, and the owner was friendly. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!

Leonardo’s Coffee and Sandwich House is a wonderful and cozy cafe in downtown Edmonton, located in an historic building. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, inviting, and quiet, perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. It is a great local gem with a great location, a good walking distance from the Government Center LRT station, and offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
The owner is super friendly, welcoming, patient, accommodating, and nice. Service is great, with waiters noted as being fast. The coffee is amazing, rich, flavorful, and of great quality. Drinks like the London fog and Chai tea are really good. The food is delicious, with huge portion sizes. Sandwiches like the reuben and items like the chicken bacon caesar wrap are delicious, and pastries are fresh and delicious. The watermelon was a good, unexpected addition. It is a quality place with delicious sandwiches and amazing coffee, highly recommended for a great local café experience.
