“Me and my partner absolutely love coming here for our weekend caffeine fix. The staff are always sooo friendly and provide excellent service! We always get matcha and coffee and it’s great every time! If you are coming here as a group plan to utilize the outdoor seating in the back or get take-away as there isn’t a ton of indoor seating, but overall, it’s a nice mellow cafe that’s definitely worth a visit. :)“
“I love The Colombian! I normally go to the OG location in Glenora, but tried this location out for the first time. I liked the booths, although they are a bit of a commodity, and the abundance of natural sunlight. My go tos are the vanilla latte and avocado toast - both were scrumptious here. I also really appreciate the design and the quality of their to go cups.Quality coffee and food. Nice chill, laid back but classy vibe. Service is friendly but minimal.“
“Great little gem in the city. Wonderful staff, great selection of gifts and books and the coffee was the best I've had in a long time. As a person who's favorite thing to do is find and browse bookstore this one definitely is on the top of my list.“
“Excellent drip coffee and spectacularly flavourful pour overs, the pickers project is a must try if you like fruit notes in your coffee.Ginger molasses cookies were soft and filling, they pair very nicely with the house coffee. The Colombian offers a lively and welcoming environment, I highly recommend this cafe if you're a fan of freshly roasted coffee and baked goods.Parking: 10 parking spots shared with the other 2 businesses at this building“
“I just bought an espresso machine and am definitely a novice when it comes to coffee as I’m more of a tea person - however my husband loves coffee and I really wanted to make him the best coffees. I came to NXT after trying grocery store beans (yikes) and from the smile on my husband’s face after taking a sip, NXT definitely has the best coffee beans! The lady who helped me was really kind and showed me where they roasted the beans and allowed me to smell the different types (I purchased a bag of Honduras beans). The owner offered some good advice on how to pull the shot and clearly knows his stuff. I’ll definitely be back. This is a gem of a small business that has honed their craft to the T.“
“This is one of my favourite coffee shops in Edmonton! Not only is the coffee good but the sandwhiches are delicious! The staff here are all really nice and the place has very chill and relaxing vibes. I highly reccomend checking this place out.“
“One of my favorite cafes in the city! Amazing vibes, lots of tables and plug-ins. Great place to study/work.The coffees are on the pricey side because I think they roast their own beans? I wish there was a student discount! Their soups are also yummy and big portions.“
“A friend and I went to Candid Coffee Roasters this morning and were so glad we did. I am a latte lover and had the best latte ever! Also a couple of stroopwafels. So yummy. (Be sure to have them lightly grilled.) Going back tomorrow with hubby.“
“You want to be here! Iconoclast is an excellent example of the vibrancy of the third wave coffee movement in Edmonton. 13 years ago I used to frequent Edmonton every weekend. However, I have not been in some time, and needed a great place for coffee and a snack to start my Saturday. Enter Iconoclast. This location in the historic Oliver building is something to behold. The space alone is one of the nicest places to sip a coffee in town. The historic building lives on and has been spruced up with an elegant modern feel. My latte was excellent and my wife opted for a really tasty quiche. While my kids and I had a tasty treat from Brio Bakery next door. The staff were very helpful and extremely courteous. This is a lovely space to take in. The room is bustling and the bar seating around the central bar is a great place to cozy up. The patio on is also a great spot to take in the morning sun. We loved our experience here and will definitely be back. Soon! You should head by too!“
“Their iced latter is so creamy but I can taste coffee enough. However they don’t have a large size of iced. And they are a little pricey ($6-7). I love the doughnuts here? I ordered cinnamon doughnuts ($3) and it was sooo fluffy, thick, and not too sweet. I recommend to get both cafe and doughnuts?“
“Sitting here while my car gets worked on across the street. They have some delicious looking pastries on display. I tried the ham and cheese croissant and it was delicious. Staff is so kind and friendly, I love all the plants in here. ❤️“
“From 3 visits, each coffee was without question, exceptional. It’s in a slightly odd place but with a trip if you have high coffee standards because you’ll not be disappointed. There is lots of equipment and coffee roasted so recently that it may only have been roasted a couple of days ago. The staff when brewing coffee, seem to be in the zone, really enjoying their craft. I particularly appreciated the offering of single origin dark chocolate. I’ll definitely be back for more from these guys.“
