“Excellent coffee shop. I can see why some people say it's their favorite coffee place in the city. Their drip coffee and latte are great. The chai is okay. The service is excellent! The worker at the counter (didn't catch her name) went above and beyond to share briefly about the history of the shop, and since I was there on my birthday, said the drink was on them! Really surprised me and made my day. Thank you! We'll be back for sure.“

“I guess there’s more than one Coffee by Colombian in town, which surprised me because the Glenora location feels like a one-off neighbourhood coffee shop that caters perfectly to the area.
Walking in, you can immediately tell you’re in a different part of town. I strolled in carrying a Starbucks cup and instantly felt a little out of place. It probably didn’t help that I wasn’t wearing my Arc’teryx, Patagonia, or any other premium Glenora mountain-climbing-related outerwear.
I didn’t actually have a coffee this visit. My girlfriend was there for one of their famous donuts, and after stealing a bite, I have to admit the hype she had built up about the donut was absolutely justified. They really are that good.
I have purchased their off-the-shelf coffee here before, and it’s roasted in-house. There’s a large roasting setup at the back of the store that’s clearly visible as you walk through, adding to the character and authenticity of the place.
So, if you’re looking for excellent coffee, outstanding donuts, and the chance to rub elbows with Glenora greatness, stop by Coffee by Colombian.
Just make sure you wear your best high-end, mountain-climbing-related outerwear.“

“A friend and I went to Candid Coffee Roasters this morning and were so glad we did. I am a latte lover and had the best latte ever! Also a couple of stroopwafels. So yummy. (Be sure to have them lightly grilled.) Going back tomorrow with hubby.“

“I love coming to this cafe. Whether I decide to have food from their kitchen, a ready to go pastry, or a drink, I know that it's going to be made with care. It gets a little busy around lunch, I wish it was bigger, but it's a wonderful space. The staff are amazing, and it's fun to chat with them when they're less busy. They're very kind and all very good at their jobs. Definitely one of my favourites in the city for sure!“

Amazing service and extremely friendly staff. The latte is awesome as well as their options for drip, pour over and espresso.
Their food menu is small - but very good. The ham and cheese croissant is my favourite !Besides - it’s a cafe/roaster… I come for the coffee, the rest is a bonus.

“The one and only complaint I have is that they sell decaf. Bonnie saved my life today. I switched our subscription temporarily as we were going through more than usual, and when I switched back I somehow chose decaf. Decaf!?! It just isn't sustainable make-go juice. I emailed right away to see if we could exchange it after it arrived, but Bonnie managed to switch it out for me just in the much of time before Canada Post got there. Life. Saver. Ever since we've started using Transcend beans, other coffees just don't taste the same. It's definitely the favorite in this home. I haven't had a roast I don't like yet!“
