“Certainly well deserved reputation as an Edmonton institution. They're always playing with flavours and different twists on classics so it keeps things interesting for locals. The price is a little steep for some of the items considering they're not always freshly baked and get rewarmed instead. Some standout things that they do here is the cakes in general and the bread pudding, some of the other desserts can be hit or miss. The shortbreads and Madelines are great too but not enough to justify the price.Wheelchair accessibility: the chairs can be moved to make room for anyone in a wheelchair.“
“Arno’s fine French pastry is a hidden gem just off of Jasper Ave. My hubby and I go every once in awhile for their fresh croissants and pastries. Always fresh! Can’t forget the amazing cappuccinos and specialty coffees. It’s a small place but we love it. In the summer u can sit outside under the trees. The owner and staff are super friendly and kind. A warm welcome atmosphere.“
“Little Duchess in Ritchie is the smaller sister of the large bakery on 124 Street. They have many of the same pastries and dishes as the larger one. This one shares a space with a few other businesses (butcher, coffee shop, restaurant, etc.). The staff is always friendly and happy to give recommendations. It's nice to see that the area is getting more local things to check out! The space is inclusive and all on one level - which makes easy access for wheelchairs and walkers. There is street parking around the area, which is sometimes quite busy, so you tend to have to park and then walk a bit to your final destination. Worth stopping in for sure.“
“You can't expect anything better than what they offer in service, communication and Professionalism front. They accommodated my request for a custom cake with just 3 days and they surprised us with the Cake design and perfectionism.Ohh, We have no words to express the taste . It was amazing.Hereafter, I don't have to think about any place for Baking needs. I am happy I found them.“
“This cafe is aesthetically pleasing. The service was friendly and fast. However, the pastries/desserts we tried were not as expected. They looked amazing through the glass display but the taste and quality of the desserts were not satisfactory. The macarons were dry, crumbled and tasted like they were old. Same goes for the raspberry mousse dessert that had gold flakes on it, priced at $13 of which tasted old too. The coffees were as expected. Would I visit this place again? Probably, just for a nice coffee date and the aesthetics.“
“I ordered a cake for delivery and I was very very pleased with packaging and presentation.I got it delivered for my best friends birthday. I wish I got another cake for Valentine’s Day because the service and quality is wonderful. This will be my new cake place moving forward. Thank you again for putting a smile on everyone’s faces.“
