“My new favourite Steakhouse! I went here for the first time for my birthday and everything was amazing. My husband called ahead of time to book a more quiet place of the resturaunt and they did not dissappoint. Amazing service and amazing food. All the staff were great, welcoming and even made me a card for my birthday. We got the 32oz steak and it was cooked to perfection. Would totally order again! We will definitely be coming back.“
“Absolutely fantastic! Went in for the first time and really enjoyed the menu for Downtown Dining week. Booked a reservation and was seated promptly when we arrived on time. The wait time to place our first order was a bit on long, but our server was very nice and constantly checked on us throughout our courses afterwards. They also explained the aspect of each course so it was more enjoyable to eat our meals, knowing what went into them!We started off with their All Inclusive from their Sober Cat menu, and it's something that we'd definitely order again when we go back!Ordered bone marrow (very melt-in-your-mouth), their DOSC ceasar salad (great flavour and crunch), 8 oz Smoked Juniper and Coffee Rubbed Flat Iron (a bit tough of a cut but enjoyed the deeper flavour it gave) and Rigatoni a la Vodka (had a pleasant kick of heat that we didn't expect but really enjoyed). Ended things off with their Chocolate Pave that was very rich and decadent, but we couldn't finish it as we were full from the previous courses. Loved it! Would visit again!“
“It's been such a long time since I last went to Vons. But tonight, when I stepped into their "new" Jasper location, they really reminded me of why I used to love going there. My girlfriend had never been to Vons so I wanted to take her out on a special date night. She very much enjoyed the night and will likely come back with her friends. Alan, our server, was very much enjoyable to speak with and professional. Would definitely come back because of him and the food.Unfortunately the table adjacent to us wasn’t really fond with their service. I will say this, this is not your typical franchise steakhouse. Be prepared to spend some $. The behavior exhibited by the guests was utterly appalling and reeked of a sense of entitlement because of THEIR mistake. I really have to disagree with the idea that the customer is always right. It's just not accurate in my opinion. In any situation, it's crucial to consider multiple perspectives before passing judgment. I highly recommend giving Vons Steakhouse a try before making any conclusions.Parking: Paid surface lot on the south side of building. There is also street parking available during certain times. Near by parkades if you would like to park underground.“
“Three of us went and had sirloin steak, fried brussel sprouts, fries and the burger. We ate the chocolate torte and butter tart pie for dessert. Steaks came out cooked perfectly and the brussel sprouts were a highlight of the meal. The chimichurri sauce was amazing. Service was top notch. “The dishes were wonderful. We got the truffle and rubbed cowboy steaks, oyster rockefeller, and brussels sprouts. All were very delicious. Our table was luckily taken care by sweet Alexis. “I love the sawmill, always have. I don’t come here expecting majorly exquisite food, but I do expect great tasting food for what I’m paying. My experience today was very enjoyable as the servers were attentive and friendly; giving us a quick rundown of what the buffet served today. My only inhibition is that it’s typical buffet food; nothing special. The breakfast portion was great, hashbrowns were especially crispy and well seasoned.I didn’t like that our party of eight was sat in a room with 3 tables of other larger parties, not much elbow room. 2-stars for atmosphere because of that, and because the bar TV’s are blaring MMA, the waitresses are provocatively dressed, and because they advertise their strip club right when you walk in. Not very child-friendly in that sense.“
