“My recommendation comes as a man who has spent many years working as a chef in the commercial hotel industry and 60 plus years chewing meat. I recommend this particular establishment based on my comparison between Pampa Ellerslie and Fumaca over on Saskatchewan drive. Both have elegant decor although Fumaca is much more quiet and intimate. My experience with the meat at Pampa was that was overdone and heavily salted during my first visit there and so busy that it felt like a school cafeteria. Great if you like the hustle and bustle with lots of noise. The meat here was tender juicy and cooked to perfection. Didn't spend a lot of time at either establishment comparing the wine list but one would assume they're all pretty standard. Both have a fresh buffet line with more food items at Pampa. Good service at both restaurants but you might enjoy paying $15+- a plate less here for a better quality meat experience. Which honestly, is one of the main reasons we go to these places. The view is also impressive looking out across the river valley towards downtown. And they seem to have enough parking right outside the restaurant door.
