First time visiting Jasper's location, and I am glad I did.We walked a few blocks to get here. No wonder this is the only place packed with people, even on weekdays.Adequate number of staff and their well trained servers did a wonderful job during busy times.Walking inside reminded me of ikazaya in Vancouver, something I did not expect to find in Edmonton.It is a bit pricy, but if you view it as tapa or izakaya rather than japanese restaurants. Me and my friends went here yesterday for dinner, since this was recommended to us. They said this restaurant serves good food and I can say that it has an excellent food! I really liked the Chicken Truffle and the Salmon pressed sushi. Also, the staffs were all accommodating and nice. This place is great!

What a great date night meal with my wife! First time for both of us, and it won't be our last. HIGHLY recommend the TNT sushi (just incredible), chicken karaage, Yakiniku, and the Chicken Truffle Ramen. Our waitress was excellent, being patient with us as we had a few questions about the menu. A little pricy for sure, nothing we're going to spend every month, but we really enjoyed ourselves and will be back!
