What a great date night meal with my wife! First time for both of us, and it won't be our last. HIGHLY recommend the TNT sushi (just incredible), chicken karaage, Yakiniku, and the Chicken Truffle Ramen. Our waitress was excellent, being patient with us as we had a few questions about the menu. A little pricy for sure, nothing we're going to spend every month, but we really enjoyed ourselves and will be back!

Would be five stars but service was very slow. They also turned off the lights in the back where we were sitting. Food was exceptional

First time visiting Jasper's location, and I am glad I did.We walked a few blocks to get here. No wonder this is the only place packed with people, even on weekdays.Adequate number of staff and their well trained servers did a wonderful job during busy times.Walking inside reminded me of ikazaya in Vancouver, something I did not expect to find in Edmonton. It is a bit pricy, but if you view it as tapa or izakaya rather than japanese restaurants. It is well priced, and food quality is pretty good as well.I highly recommend this place for a date night. They will have a variety of food that will satisfy your taste, bud.

went in for lunch during downtown dining week. The place was nice and clean, and our server was very friendly. I order the Sushi bowl that was on special and it came with miso soup, and then a matcha brulee. The sushi bowl was pretty good but not amazing. I've never had raw shrimp before and I was not a fan. I also didn't realize the big pile of wasabi in the dish that I ended up mixing up in everything (too spicy to me!). The sushi was good though, I'd rather just eat plain sushi. The miso soup was very nice, it was cozy on a cold day.The winning dish was a the matcha creme brulee, I would definitely order that again.Vegetarian options: Very few veg options

Me and my friends went here yesterday for dinner, since this was recommended to us. They said this restaurant serves good food and I can say that it has an excellent food! I really liked the Chicken Truffle and the Salmon pressed sushi. Also, the staffs were all accommodating and nice. This place is great!
Came here for lunch, I ordered the chicken-truffle-shoyu ramen and added extra pork chasu. I also ordered a house peach oolong iced tea to balance the saltiness of the meal with something sweet. I personally think having a yuchoy spinach made this dish off balance. The vegetable had a strong flavour that threw off the dish. I recommend you eat this first, cleanse your pallet, and then enjoy your ramen. That or ask for a substitution, if you like bokcho and yuchoy, not an issue. The ramen, while not the best I had, was decent. The peach oolong iced tea needs to be stirred a lot. Or else the taste will be super concentrated and bland towards 25 percent of the end. I recommend dorinku to anyone looking to eat decent to good Japanese food in Edmonton.Service was not busy and I had to flag the waitress for all my needs, but she did agree to charge my phone, so nothing much to say.Atmosphere is fun, saw a lot of cute couples and business people talking about their day.

This place used to be my go to for quality and delicious elevated street food. Lately the quality and care to the dishes seems to have changed. My old favorites no longer taste quite like they used too. We order quite a bit... 0.5% top customer on Uber eats (lol)

Food was really good, really good atmosphere, friendly servers and fast service. Only issue is flat iced teas and cokes and drinks in general.
