“I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I moved into the area about 10 months ago and discovered this little gem. Every single dish I've ordered has been great. When I order chai it comes out piping hot, the way it should be in my books. Recently they started giving a free soup appetizer. I had no idea there was a such thing as Indian soup. I've had about 5 different kinds. Don't ask me what they were because I couldn't tell you. What I can say is that every single one of them was absolutely scrupmtious. The other day I went in and ordered some soup to go and I didn't even care what kind it was (turned out to be a lentil soup). Yes it was great. They have quite varied menu so I would say just try whatever and I'm pretty sure you'll be more than happy. The one fellow who I believe to be the owner is super friendly too. I would give it more stars if I could.“
““I can’t say enough good things about the food and service at this restaurant. The staff is incredibly accommodating for minor changes and goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy. The staff here truly cares about their guests. They were attentive, courteous, and polite. They made us feel back home Town“The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. We would come back for food and service again ???“
“New Asian Village consistently delivers great tasting dishes with a fine selection of imported beers that compliment the dining experience. I recommend ordering off the menu as opposed to the buffet to customise the spice level to your palate.Pictured here is beef vindaloo and chicken curry, both very spicy, with garlic and buttered naan bread to mop up every last drop of the amazing sauce.“
“my partner and i went for the buffet dinner and were so so satisfied by the time we left. the employees were all so kind, from a warm greeting all the way until we left at the end of our meal.there were a ton of different options from proteins, carbs, salads, curries, desserts and sauces. the dishes each had such a depth of flavour, and were all super fresh (which is always a concern when eating buffet style). they asked us which kind of naan we wanted and brought it fresh from the kitchen, checking in on us to see if we needed a top up. we had gotten there very late and served ourselves nice plates using the rest of the lamb in the buffet, and they came up to the table to ask if we’d like them to bring more out for us (which i thought was very kind as we were the last ones in the restaurant).i highly recommend this spot and already can’t wait to go back.“

“I am super grateful to have found this establishment, that is Green Bean Mountain Bistro. This is a restaurant that is efficient and takes pride in the food they serve. The waitress has such a friendly and kind demeanor as well, and there is a window which you can see the chefs prepare their food. Yes, they are chefs and not just cooks. My recent orders have been their Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani, and Chana Masala. From the spices they use, to the freshness of their ingredients, my mouth has been tantalized and stomach happy with each dish I've tried. Guaranteed your Naan will come out super fresh as they make it from scratch. They have a diverse menu, and if you're not into Indian/Nepalese food (you better try their Momos) - well you're in luck. They have a variety of different sandwiches for the simpletons who prefer a handheld bite. No shame! They got you covered. The highest of love and praise to Green Bean Mountain Bistro. ??? Please continue to serve delicious and flavourful food, and I will keep returning. ?“

“Love this little gem tucked away in Tamrack plaza, right in front of cineplex. Went there for the first time last evening , and will definitely be back. I love Indian food, and have not been able to find a local Indian restaurant that I really like until now. The chicken biryani was delicious, as was the Tandoori chicken and lamb chops. Very excited about this place - the restaurant is well appointed. The service by our server Harsh and food are both excellent. Will definitely recommend!!!“

“This was our first time going to this restaurant. We came for the lunch buffet and we were treated like gold from start to finish by Umesh and the staff. Umesh showed us the proper way to eat the Indian food which we really appreciated. The naan bread was fresh and was so delicious! The price is extremely reasonable! Will definitely be back again!“
“We dine in once and take out another time. Both time we specially mentioned for mild spice level for 4 & 6 years old kids. We don't mind spicy but it felt like medium to high for both me and my wife. Kids didn't eat the food both time. Don't recommend for kids and for those who have issues with spice. Their mild is really medium to high.. The food is good for spice lovers.. Try yourself..“

“Went with a group of 8 family members food was unbelievably tasty we shared 4 appetizers, 3 orders of garlic naan, 4 curries, an order of saffron rice. Everything was outstanding with food coming out quickly top notch service despite the restaurant being full. There was a perfect amount of spice and you could really tell that all food was made with extra love and care, very authentic Indian food. “One of the best Indian Buffets in Edmonton. They have a la carte as well if you want a favorite dish.Food was fresh and refilled promptly. Naan was ordered and came pretty quickly. The flow was busy but not so packed that it was uncomfortable. No rush but the staff was super quick to turn over tables when people finished and left.“
“I tried the food at this place for the first time and all the items I ordered looked fresh and tasted amazingly delicious. The girl who served me was very sweet and helped me to choose the items I should try. She also offered me free tea while I was waiting for my order to be packed up.“
“No compromise with taste even better in service. Kids love their food and we loved amritsari kulcha. Amritsari fish pakoda as good as they have in old location which is unbeatable in Ontario and Alberta. Good luck to the hardworking and honest team. Also they serve Limca which is too good after a heavy meal.“
“This place is amazing, I've been here 5+ times and never been dissatisfied. The lady at the counter is lovely and the food is amazing. Portions are fantastic and the atmosphere is intriguing, I've only ever been for lunch though, but I've had nothing but a positive experience.“
“Went tonight with my Son as he really likes Indian food, food was excellent service was excellent My Son said it was the best Indian food he had ever had after trying several restaurants. “I really enjoyed this place, went with a friend and we ordered butter paneer and moong masoor dahl with a cheese paratha. Everything was very delicious. Staff was quite friendly and it's a cute cozy little Cafe. I felt so bad, when we went we didn't realize they were closing soon and we stayed 30 minutes after they were closed. ? but they were very nice about it and didn't complain. I would go here again for sure and recommend it to friends and family.“

“Both me and my husband were feeling a little under the weather with the cold outside so decided to get the chicken soup here, just wanted to say it was the best one i’ve ever had! 1 portion is so filling and enough for 2, the taste was the most exquisite which makes you want more, great for a cold especially with the garlic tasteWe also got the fish pakora which was actually amazing, the green chutney was a lil watery but i dipped the pakora in dahi & chutney and it tasted so deliciousHad a aloo parantha too and personally i think it was a bit dry but also i love eating my food with dahi so i dipped it in that and it was so good, made my dinner and night definitely a great place for food with such amazing prices & customer service is 10/10“
“I wish I received a free dish from this restaurant for this review but you can be rest assured that I haven’t :p. Their quality of food is pretty good, and dishes and naans I have gotten from them so far, tastes like what I imagine to be homemade Indian food. Haven’t dined in but place looks clean when I went for my order pickups so far.“
“I'd give it a 5, but the chicken samosas I had tonight were surprisingly way too spicy for me to eat. Uncomfortably hot ? Other than that, everything else I had was super delish. I've been there at least 10 times and first time eating samosas there. Not greasy like other places, it was just the heat. Owner is super friendly and attentive when he's there and explains the food and he wasn't when I picked up the samosas. Try the fish pakora, curried goat and butter chicken. Amazing ?Vegetarian options: All indian food has vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: They explain ingredientsParking: Free parking on street and a parking lot in back“

“I've been a regular at Suvai Dosa in Edmonton for quite some time now, and let me tell you, it never disappoints! As a fan of South Indian cuisine, this place hits all the right spots with its delicious offerings.Let's start with the star of the show – the dosas. Oh boy, where do I even begin? Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavorful fillings, these dosas are simply irresistible. Whether you're into classic masala dosa or feeling adventurous with their specialty varieties, each bite is a burst of authentic South Indian goodness. Now, let's talk about the kotthu. It's like a flavor explosion on a plate! The combination of chopped dosa, vegetables, and spices cooked to perfection is a true comfort food indulgence. It's hearty, satisfying, and oh-so-delicious.And who can forget about the uttapams? These savory pancakes are a favorite of mine too. Spongy in texture with toppings that range from traditional onion and tomato to more adventurous options, they never fail to satisfy my cravings. But it's not just about the food at Suvai Dosa; the ambiance adds to the whole experience. The cozy yet vibrant atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family.Overall, if you're a fan of South Indian cuisine like me, Suvai Dosa is a must-visit. With their mouthwatering dosas, flavorful kotthu, and delicious uttapams, it's a culinary journey you won't want to miss out on.“
“Our dining experience was impeccable, and I must commend our server, Haj, for her exceptional service. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured our every need was met throughout the meal. Her professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience, making it a memorable one. We'll definitely be returning soon, thanks in large part to Haj's outstanding service.“

“I went to Edmonton for travel purposes and I was in search of a good yet affordable Indian restaurant. Fortunatley I found Bombay Talkiz. The food made me remember of my home (which I was missing badly) and the service and atmosphere made my day. Highly appreciate thier services. Must visit!!!Vegetarian options: As the name of the restaurant suggest it puts all the famous Bombay food options such as pav bhaji, golgappe, naan, chaat papri, masala dosa and so on.“
“So I got take out Byriani. This is a South indian restaurant. The lady was super nice. I am also south Asian and think the Byriani is very good. Big pieces of chicken, the rice is cooked well and the paste in the Byriani was perfect. I am trying not to eat all of it at once. The price is also very good at around 13.50. I wish I had gotten a second one as I dont live nearby. I think people should try this unassuming restaurant. It's not fancy but the Byriani hit the spot. I suggest people try this restaurant for south indian food and recommend one try it.“
“This place is actually great. [ It's kinda misleading because of thr types of Foods on the sign. I actually live by here and finally tried it over 2 years. And I must admit I'm thankful I did. They have a perfect BUTTER CHICKEN COMBO Going on right now, Dont miss it! Very authentic flavors and served hot with perfect Nan. I have ordered here about 5 times so far in the past 2 months of this review. So don't just take my review, Try it out your self.[I suggest you come in and order you will be treated well. The location has some plumping issues so I don't suggest to wait inside ?]Parking: Tons of parking everywhere you look.“
“The Empire has the best Indian food (and some of the best food of any kind) that I've tried in Edmonton. The staff were also extremely good. There are also a lot gluten-free (and vegetarian obviously) options if that floats your boat.My wife and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and we will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Excellent and extensive.Dietary restrictions: If you are gluten-free this is an incredible option. So good.“
