“The young lady working the night before Good Friday did a fantastic job building my sub. Good portion of meat and toppings before adding a decent amount of sauce. She made my sandwich perfectly and was worth the money. I live in Edmonton but will definitely coming back to Gibbons just for a sub!”

“This place reminded me of Cheers. Comfortable, local, good food, cold beer, friendly service. The menu selection is huge (is that always a good thing?) Everyone was satisfied with their meal and the portions were ample. the service was friendly, the area is clean (bathrooms check and check.
Downside- Grouo of 20 golfers showed up at 8:30 and served drinks .. then told they close at 9 so no food was being served. Was that a great choice.. meh.”

“Reserved a table for our birthday party of 9. Minor confusion as we were told it was booked upstairs the night before but when we arrived, it was set up downstairs. Having the room, they quickly corrected things and moved us to the upstairs area smoothly which was a bit quieter as well which was appreciated. We had Steph as a server and honestly, what a lovely lady. Super personable, efficient and we had beverages, appies and main courses all arrive in a timely nature plus she was great about making sure beverages were refilled as needed also in a very timely way. One meal had a very slightly overdone component and a gravy was missed but everything else was spot on. Overall, happy with the fantastic service with a smile. We will continue to be repeat customers.”

“I hadn’t been to the bears den in many years and myself and a group of others decided to go watch the oilers game last night. I feel like it’s honestly such a hidden gem the atmosphere was great, you can actually have a conversation without having to yell when the music is on, our waitress was awesome super attentive, funny and down to earth. We had a great night and I was lucky enough to win play off tickets to the next oilers game. Definitely will be making an effort to go again soon. I wish I could remember our servers name because we were all raving about her. Thanks for the great night guys 🥰”
