Very good, well crafted but not a typical cupcake. Very light moist cake, not very sweet, like an orient cake. Icing is a very light whipped topping. Great if you like that kind of dessert. Flavors are also very light.
Cafe Haven is a delightful little cafe tucked away in Sherwod Park. The menu is larger than I expected and the food was awesome (fresh and flavourful). They have a wide array of hot and cold drinks. There is lots of parking available nearby and there is a comfortable outdoor terrace area. All in all, a fun and delicious experience!
I've always liked cafe haven. I had a disagreement with them a few months back because they wouldn't honour my gift card due to complications from switching gift card systems. Anyway, there was a miscommunication and i was forgotten. I have since been contacted by the owner and she has been very gracious in rectifying the issue. I guess they changed ownership and there was a lot to manage with all the new changes! I was very happy when they made this right, their lattes...
