Best. Donairs. In the. City.

Ugh.. this pains be to say but I won’t order from here again. I have been a customer for a long time under Madhi and Mohammed from Syria. Their story was unreal escaping the war and their food was amazing. But it’s obvious it’s been sold to Indians and the quality has gone down significantly.

Shawarma house has been my go to spot for Donairs. Tonight though I was really disappointed. I bought a kids donair a cheese donair and a jumbo donair. All three were the same size with the same pita bread. I was told that the jumbo was bigger than the other when I ordered it. Also the pita was dry and there was little to no sauce. It’s funny because this is the first time I’ve ever eaten a donair that wasn’t dripping from beef and sweet sauce. I think I will have to start trying other places in Sherwood park.

I will say that the service was good and the store was clean.

My husband and I went in one evening this past week after reading good reviews online and we were so impressed! The employee Palak served us and she did such a fantastic job and got us really excited for the food. We wanted to share something so we ended up going with the mixed shawarma platter and it was a ton of food (enough for 3 meals — two that evening and my husband took the leftovers for lunch the next day)!! Everything was incredibly delicious and SO flavorful. We will definitely be back again!!

Friend recommended we try this place and the food was delicious. Our donairs were packed with meat and veggies that she could barely close the wrap. Staff were super friendly. I will definitely come and keep coming back to this awesome place.

food was good, but kind of messy lol. I got a regular donair and the pita only wrapped half of it, so everything spilled out 😅

Unassuming from the outside, but really nice inside. Staff is pretty nice too, seem happy enough to be working there. The food itself is great. Good pita, meat cooked nicely. Thanks guys!
