They just won't serve you. You stand there for like 20 minutes while the guy just hangs out with random boomers half filling food containers and standing around. It's absolutely insane. Food is good enough to overcome the documented health code violations but they literally won't sell it to you.I keep coming to try to give you money and you keep refusing to take it. You just stand there awkwardly, doing nothing, while they do nothing and the people in front of you do nothing. Insane. Absolutely insane.

This place has the best Asian takeout I've ever had between Alberta and Manitoba. Their veggies are fresh and fried tender. The ginger beef is coated legit strips of beef, not grissle. Everything is made in small batches for the buffet style steam table so the food is always getting revolved and it's fresh, right from the kitchen. The staff are pleasant folk who take great pride in their food and business. I just love coming here! You will too!

Golden 88 is the best take-out spot in all of Sherwood Park. It has been around for years and the people running it are amazing. They are also incredibly generous with the portions and their three item combo is just over $10. While the inside looks like it has not been renovated since the early 2000s, do not let that dissuade you from getting some incredible take-out at an affordable price. Used to eat here a few times until we found out about the health violations. On the positive side when it was good the food was fresh and good. When it was bad it was not good at all. However reading about mice droppings and properly unthawed food is enough for me not to eat there any longer which is disappointing because I like Chinese food.
