Was very disappointed according to the menu on the website it said your shop had black licorice ice cream so we drove out there only to find that you haven't had it for a couple years.

Expensive ice cream. Usually pretty busy. But I guess that tells you how good the ice cream is.

I love this place because their flavours are amazing plus I like supporting local businesses. However, long wait times and seeing only one worker handling everything (taking order, getting the orders ready, cleaning up, etc.) makes me feel bad for the employee. I recommend management should look into it. Customers shouldn't be waiting in line for 15-20 minutes when it's this hot and hazy.

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. Ive never given a review before but I was just so annoyed I HAD to. I waited 20 minutes in line only to find out the employee was working all alone, while we stood in THE HEAT (34+)? Ridiculous! With how expensive the ice cream is you'd think they could have one person on the till and one person making ice cream. You can really tell the place is just a cash grab and they don't actually care about the customer satisfaction! Shame shame shame.

Was a favourite until they changed their scoop amounts. Last time we went (May 2024), they gave us HALF the usual amount and told us that management asked them to give smaller scoops. The kid's cone that is $4.5 was one small scoop, just a tiny bit bigger than the baby cone. 1 star because the staff insisted that it is 2 golf-sized scoops when it was clearly one. Just tell us the sizes are halfed, no need for the gaslighting. Not worth it for us, and especially with how inconsistent these scoops are. We took our sad and disappointed toddler elsewhere next time we went for ice cream.
My family were big fans of the ice cream shack the past 2 years. Kids loved it, we earned several free ice-creams using their stamp rewards program, and the friendly staff remembered us from last year. After our last visit though, we won't be returning. We were caught off guard when the ice creams were suddenly far smaller. With seemingly forced blank stares, the staff explained that the owner wants them to reign in scoop sizes. I get it, everything costs more now. But they, again with an attempted neutral face, explained that the senior cone was two golf ball scoops while only giving a single scoop. The regular size cone went from 3 scoops to 2 scoops, which had been the size of the senior cone a few days prior. My 4 year old cried from the shattering of expectations broken, not understanding why what they expected the size of their ice cream to be wasn't anymore.I get it, it's a business and the owner doesn't want to give away extra product volume when margins are tighter. I'm willing to pay more for the same thing. But this shrinkflation, this seemingly berating the staff to the point that they tell a 4 year old that 1+1=1 is awful, and I can't abide by it.All the best to everyone enjoying the ice cream there, just know that shrinkflation hit the ice cream shack hard. Thank you to the kind staff. Shame on the owner for how they must have talked to the staff for them to affected in their interactions so much.
