⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review – A Day of Dining Bliss at Joey (Sherwood Park & Downtown Edmonton) Our day in Edmonton started off with a late brunch at Joey Sherwood Park, and it turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. I ordered the Mediterranean Salad and was instantly blown away. From the creamy hummus to the perfectly spiced chicken, the fresh mint, salty olives, and bright tzatziki—it was absolute perfection. I savored every single bite! My husband ordered the Ahi Tuna Club Sandwich, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. He said it was the best meal he’s had in years—the flavors were bold, clever, and perfectly balanced. We both left that first meal in awe, wondering how we had never experienced such bursts of flavor before. The service was impeccable. We had the pleasure of being looked after by two wonderful ladies in management (unfortunately I cant remember their names). After chatting about how much we loved our meals, we were treated to a surprise—our meals were taken care of, and on top of that, we were gifted a gift card when they found out we were heading to the Oilers game downtown and was currently booking on open table to dine at the Joey downtown location later that day. We were absolutely floored by the kindness and generosity. Next stop was Joey Downtown, where we made it just in time for happy hour. We tried the Tempura Prawns, Guacamole with Chips, and the Seared Salmon Sushi. Each dish was beautifully crafted and packed with incredible flavor. To finish, we indulged in the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake—rich, creamy, and unforgettable. After the game, we weren’t done yet—we headed back to Joey Sherwood Park for a late-night dinner (yes, round three in one day!). We were lucky enough to have Austin as our server, and he was absolutely fantastic. I loved the Mediterranean Salad so much, I ordered it again, and my husband enjoyed the Tuna Poke Bowl—fresh, vibrant, and delicious. Even though we had planned to keep it light, Austin surprised us with a couple of shareable appetizers—the Sushi Cone and the Crispy Mashed Potato Spring Rolls—which were both outstanding. By the end of the day, we had sampled a wide range of Joey’s menu, and not a single dish missed the mark. Everything was executed with care, creativity, and amazing flavor. The Sherwood Park team, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We are visiting from BC, but after this experience, we will definitely be back in Sherwood Park just for you Joey. Thank you to the entire staff for making our dining adventure absolutely unbelievable, not to mention delicious. Highly recommend—you will not be disappointed! Sincerely, Crystal & Corey P.S. We might even see you for a quick meal before we hit the road tomorrow 😉
JOEYS IS NOT HANDICAPPED inclusive or accessible! They refuse to cater to handicapped people and dietary needs. I’m a Mother of two kids. Today is my daughter’s 8th birthday. I wanted to spend 5-6 hundred on a nice birthday meal for the family. I called about coming in for a reservation. I asked about an accessibility table. I stated I have one handicapped child who is in a wheelchair and eats exclusively by G-tube. I said I’ll need them to purée her food I order so I could feed her at the table while we’re all eating. I didn’t think it would be an issue because many other restaurants cater to handicapped people and have puréed our meals for us no problem. I would have paid 50$ for them to do it too! The hostess informed me it’s not accessible and I can’t do that there. So I informed them about the handicapped accessibility laws and that I will report this. Regardless @EARLS said they have accessibility and will purée her meal no problem.. Shame on joeys it’s hard enough for people with disabilities! Cant believe I’ve gone here since my sister worked at the original joeys tomato. They just lost a valued customer! And I’ll make sure to inform all my friends in Sherwood park and the city about their discriminatory practices.
