I want to start by saying this is a local small business that I think should always be supported - however I did have some concerns during my visit.
The staff are all high school aged - which is perfectly fine but the service was far too casual, and interrupted with private discussions and banter - I felt my order was interrupting their personal conversations.
I ordered a beverage that needed a bottle opener however was forced to go back to the counter after I realized.
If bread is offered as part of the pasta meal order, it was not provided during the time of order.
I think the owner was present tonight - as he opened the bottle for me when I got up to ask, and then he also must have notified no bread as he asked if we wanted any. I appreciate his kindness and good service.
Upon leaving, there was a group of teens that entered the restaurant and blocked the entrance/exit. They seemed to only be there to chat with the employees.
And I politely asked to sneak past them to leave, It was responded with rudeness and aggression. Now, their behaviour
is not the responsibility of the establishment, however the establishment should be maintaining a safe environment and this did not lend towards that.
Overall - I feel this dine in experience reminded me of a high school cafeteria, where the teenagers were left without teacher supervision and poor behaviour was the result.
I’d still order online to support a local business in the park - but this review will hopefully spark management into better training and customer experience quality control.
Thanks

In the past I didn't mind eating here but my god the prices are insane nowadays. its cheaper to buy 2 large pizzas from a pizza shop than to buy a 2 meals here. Unfortunately I will not be returning nor will my family.
Good vibe, friendly ppl, the owners feed me so well I’m skipping supper fs.

Cafeteria style so it was confusing how to order. The manager was super nice as he came to check in on us and gave us free rolls.

I ordered a meal here last night to feed my daughter’s sporting team. We went with the catering option which includes pasta and separate sauces that everyone can add themselves. (Pasta Pantry provided serving spoons for the noodles and sauces). The food was delicious and staff was friendly and accommodating. Cost per person was less than $10 , everyone ate their fill and we had lots of pasta and sauce left over. I will order from Pasta Pantry again next time I am in Sherwood park.

I sent my hubby to go get the bogo pasta on Halloween. I gave him the 4 large pasta order and said you have to buy a drink with it. When he got home I said this should’ve costed around $45. He said no it was $95. He said we got regular size pasta for free. I called pasta pantry and asked to talk to the manager. I said that is not what the ad says. It says buy one get equal
Or lesser value for free. I made sure all the pasta were the same price. It should be buy large pasta get large for free. If you were going to give regular pasta for free it should say buy large get regular for free. He said he has worked there for 4 years and that’s how it is. I said that when manning was open and had bogo free I got large for free. He said he would let head office know about my concerns. He didn’t rectify the situation. I said you can get head office to call me. He took my name and number. It’s been 6 days and I haven’t received a call !!

Food is decent in my opinion, definitely do if you have certain cravings and wish to scratch it quickly. The atmosphere is decent for the kind of place it is, and the staff are more often than not, very friendly. If you wish for a great Fettuccini Alfredo, this place is not it, better off just going to olive garden, the sauce is definitely sub par in my opinion.
