First time trying this place for take out. The price point is pretty on par. The perogies are good, and the cabbage roll is probably one of the best I've ever had. The woman who served was us friendly and happy we were first timers. I would say give this place a try at least once to see how you feel yourself.

Paige and Tyson always deliver with fresh and delicious meals plus affordable!Highly recommend!
Usually a huge fan as I love their dill sauce, however this order I just received had barely any! It’s the whole reason I ordered so I’m disappointed this time.

Wow. Way too good. Had the Meatballs, pyrogy and nalysnyky and sausage. Not more too be said besides superb. I will be returning. Thank you very much for the great lunch!
The Purple Perogy is an excellent spot to stop for a quick bite. The food is amazing and the perogy they make are delicious, as are all the other foods such as the nalysnyky. The staff are also super friendly which makes the experience even better. My wife and I got combo 1 for take out and for $11.99 you cannot go wrong. It was super filling and the price point is hard to beat.If you are looking for some amazing Ukrainian food in Strathcona County, look no further. Also, be sure to look out for their food truck in the summer.

Absolutely amazing every time. My go to for perogies. I remember getting hot lunch from purple perogy in school many years ago and now I still go and it’s still always perfect. Comforting lovely food, always perfectly warm and tastes so authentic and full of heart. I love the people who work there, they are so friendly and so nice. It’s so comforting even just walking in. Love it!

Wasn’t thrilled. Cream sauce is watery, sides a small not at all what the pics represent, cabbage rolls aren’t fresh - old rich the got crunch. Expensive. Not satisfactory. My family’s Ukrainian and it was hard miss. Ed’s in Beverly is where it’s at. Go there. Much more authentic and serving and options is better.

expensive! cream sauce is watery. not worth it. lady's not very friendly. if ur gonna do UkrainIan good you have to ace it cause family easily cooks is better. Ed's in Beverly in Edmonton is where to go. purple perogie was a hard miss.
Very expensive for what you get. Cream sauce is watery. Wish it was more like my moms or gmas or Ed’s in Beverly. Not a recommend. Limited options as well. Side dishes don’t look like the pics. Extremely small servings. Not worth it. Still hungry and Ukrainian food is all carbs haha. Not good.

Not sure why we didn’t try this place sooner!? My girlfriend couldn’t finish her plate and I left super full! Good bang for your buck and great home style, hearty food versus greasy fast food. You go to any fast food joint and it’s $15-$19 for a combo that leaves you feeling more sick than full. We chatted with the fella running the the place and he was super friendly. Very clean. Bought some frozen stuff to take home!! ???
