Imagine my surprise when my table of 8 arrived for my 24th anniversary dinner only to find that the restaurant was permanently closed. Thanks Open Table for not being aware that it was closed. Thanks for not notifying me. Thanks for leaving me in a situation where a table of 8 needed to find a 7:00 pm table 2 days before Valentine's Day. Brutal.

The restaurant was closed. There was several cars there and we we all had resos. The restaurant did not notify anyone that the restaurant is closed. Drove all they way there from the west end. Extremely disappointed. If you are closed please update your social media and remove your self from open table. Will never go again
This restaurant is permanently closed. Tried to contact OpenTable about it (because we did shoe up for our reservation) but the agent insisted that OpenTable “would never” allow a user to go to a closed restaurant... lol ... They should remove it from the app. Save others the same inconvenience.

Well I booked this reservation back in December for end of January. Imagine our surprise when we arrived to find that the restaurant is temporarily closed. As we had an event to attend after dinner, so time was limited, we had to scramble to find somewhere else to eat. Shouldn't a company that deals in restaurant reservations know when restaurants are closed? Extremely disappointing and frustrating.

I based this rating on my previous experience at Tatemado. When we arrived for our reservation on Friday the restaurant was closed and there was no notification on the door with any explanation. I have been to Tatemado in the past and the food and service wAs amazing BUT I understand that these are currently trying times, I think it is only a mere courtesy to notify your customers when you are closed or at the very least put a note on the door. Small business are SCREAMING to be used during these times but this is the service you receive in return. Not impressed. Went to CHOP in Sherwood Park instead it was FANTASTIC AS ALWAYS.

Meal was Ok, But When the bill came.... $0.50 for a Lime Slice (Never asked for) Separate Line Charge $0.50 !!! $4.50 for a Diet Pepsi (Which was flat or watered down) Refill was another $4.50 Would not Return Place was empty.... That was not a Good Sign...

Very nice restaurant. Food was great. So full of flavor. Only issue was an inexperienced waiter who forgot to bring water, forgot steak knife for steak, took cutlery after appetizer and didn't replace till we asked. We will return there. I was overall a pleasant evening.

Food was great! Music was great! Steak was cooked exactly how I wanted. Really enjoyed this place, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Loved it!

Great Sophisticated Mexican Food!My husband and I did not have plans for New Years Eve and decided to try for first time Tatemado Mexican Cusine.We arrived close to the closing, but the ladies found a table for us anyways. The service was very welcoming and friendly. The waitress spoke Ensglish and Spanish so it felt very authentic.I tried a black lemonaid and I love it! It was refreshing and tasty.The soup was crispy and very elegant served.Then the green enchiladas was delicious, creamy, tasty, crunchy, and light.In general I don't eat dessert because I feel super heavy having soup and main dish. The food was so delicious that I asked for dessert. My husband and I loved the desserts. I tried Marquita which is a crunchy thin crepe layer with ice cream. The ice cream was dulce de leche and Arroz von leche favours ... just divine!My husband tried 3 leches cake with coconut ice cream and dry pinneaple. It was exquisit and soft.Love the fact that the restaurant is owned by a Mexican family. I love family business and I will go back there for sure.Love the food!

Amazing food!! The tacos were some of the best tacos I have ever had. We had the cochinita pibil and steak alambre. Just unreal!!The drinks were delicious and beautiful!Staff were super friendly!! 10/10 recommend!
Amazing Mexican food! Atmosphere is warm and the decore is super modern and classy!The food is beautifully played and everything was DELICIOUS! We tried basically every desert and I can't pick a favourite! So good!Loved the live music when we went. Staff were also AMAZING and so sweet and kind! Definitely will be coming back!

Nicole was such a great waitress. She was always checking in to see how we were doing and was great at recommending dishes not to mention so polite. Highly recommend dining at Tatemado! We will be back.

This was a first time at Tatemado and we were not disappointed. We started with the empanadas and guacamole and each got an entree with the some drinks along with dessert and the bill came out to $112 which is amazing value for the quality of food. Everything was fresh and delicious, the service was amazing and the ambience of the restaurant with the decor was beautiful. We will definitely be back.

The staff are wonderful, very friendly, efficient and helpful. A very nice guitar singer added to the ambiance. The space is a little too open for it to be cozy. Not too many tables for two and wide open view to the waitress station. We went on a cold night, the booths are next to the window and we were chilled the entire dinner. We had fish tacos and the plate needs a little more excitment. It was just 3 tacos with a little red pickeled slaw on each.
