Food was good, had the vermicelli bowl. Meat was good and a decent portion for $20. We went for what was advertised as a buffet, but it is no longer offered... Staff was friendly. The restaurant itself looks like an old western saloon, which had some pretty cool character to it.
Their pho is just awful. Nothing felt fresh. The meatballs in the house special were sliced thin and they don’t give you much. Broth had no depth and tasted more like wonton than pho.
My husband and I have been going to Ken's for years. It's our favorite place to eat in Slave Lake! I love the decor, and the service is always a highlight for us! The food is SO GOOD, and I've never had something there that I didn't like.
