Food is very normal, something you can whip up at home. The plants are a nice touch though

Fabulous! Food was delicious, the owner/chef cheerful and sunny, the restaurant is filled with plants and artwork. The cuisine is Korean. It was bright and cheerful. I'm planning my next trip to Slave Lake so I can get me some more!

Great tasting food, very personable owner/cook, and relaxing atmosphere.
The owner was a very friendly gentleman and started working right after I ordered. The reason for the 3/5 was the menu/food itself. $18XX for a teriyaki chicken and the picture for the menu shows rice which would be a reasonable price. I paid $8 for extra chicken only to get the order without any rice and some lettuce as the side. When I asked about rice he went and got a room temperature bowl with maybe 1/2 cup of rice. I didn’t want to bother him and before I left I looked on the wall for the tiny menu with pricing and under rice it said $2.75 that was half washed away. $26.XX for this is a little steep especially considering it was grizzly fat chicken. Flavor was good. But I’d highly recommend creating a legible menu or not having pictures of sides that aren’t included with the meal.
Update later this day: Also I just painted the inside of a theatre washroom missing 20 minutes of a movie because of the food…..
Love this place. I make sure to stop by everytime I'm working around Slave Lake. Menu is small and every item is delicious (reccomend the Beef or Pork bulgogi). Owner is THE BEST and always serves with a smile. Cool plants too.

Absolutely delicious food. Came in after a bad day, and the chef was very kind, got me some tea and made a absolutely delicious plate of beef bulgoki, I will absolutely come here again
Great atmosphere and great food. Food taste so fresh.
A pleasant place to eat in Slave Lake. The food is delicious, service is fast and very friendly, and the dining room is very comfortable, full of art and plants. Limited menu but that's a good thing, otherwise it would be hard to pick just one thing!

A hidden restaurant with really great korean food. Its a self-serve restaurant, mostly for take-outs, so don't expect high class service, but food is delicious, especially seasoning. Portions are not really big, if you are really hungry maybe consider an additional plate. Prices are reasonable. Lots of plants inside :)
try it out

This resturant doesn't look like much on the outside, no signage other than a handmade sign in the window, but the inside is bright, clean and full of living plants. The beef bulgoki was 5 stars! He served us a green lettuce salad with the most amazing dressing on it. The teriyaki chicken was good but not at the level of the bulgoki! We would definitely go back if we're in the area again.
