Ordered a custom cake and was quoted a cash-only price (delivery included.) Price confirmed by TF shortly after.

However, when it came to payment the day of, I was told it was now $10 more! Very misleading and borderline dishonest when a price was already agreed upon so will not be recommending TF custom cakes to any friends or family.

We had booked TF about a year in advance. They cancelled on us, but neglected to tell us. Thankfully, we have 6 months to make other arrangements.

I was here on way to a project site around August 2025. Ordered their hamburger as a quick grab-n-go. So while I was waiting I checked their front counter shelf was full of small batch bbcue sauces (mild to hot) and jams/jellies Preserves, with a lot of different dry rubs for steaks. So I bought some hot sauces and rubs. Apart from fantastic seasonal menu choices, they do have some regular items also year round to go. This place is a hidden gem. The owners have a great sense of taste I would say. The sauces and rubs have just the right flavors and kicks where you need the heat to not become overbearing. And the ladies here were courteous and welcoming. It was a great find. This is one fork you dont wanna put down until your tummy is full.! I highly recommend all the rig crews to stop by on way to work around here and pick some of the rubs and sauces these guys have. You will not regret it. Alberta Oil Companies and Interior AB Businesses should try them
for corporate events. Support Local. @ TF, Im Sorry for the delay in posting a review. You guys are great..!

The Twisted Fork is the best restaurant in Eastern Alberta among the 4 towns of Saint Paul, Elk Point, Bonnyville and Cold Lake. Their fresh ingredients are sourced from local farmers and suppliers. Their menu is frequently updated with options available for clients with food allergies and dietary restrictions. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The Twisted Fork boutique inside the restaurant offers delicious jams, preserves and sauces made by The Twisted Fork Company. Artwork by local artists is displayed and available for sale at reasonable prices. The restaurant is a must visit place when you’re in the area.

The twisted fork is incredible. Hidden away in st paul, it's worth the drive from wherever you're coming from. We had the chicken panini, fish tacos, poutine and creme brule. We will definitely be back, the food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the value for your money is great.

This was my first experience at this place. It definitely is not my last though. The food was simply amazing. Service was spot on, my goodness. I highly recommend this spot for future dinners.

We had a wonderful visit with our two little ones. Brooklyn was so kind and warm. She really went above and beyond to take care of our needs and was thoughtful to bring extra napkins and wipes for the kids.

We really appreciated how much of the menu was adaptable for a dairy allergy. It was one of the first times we could eat out as a family and not worry about allergies.

Stumbled upon Twisted Fork on our way to a wedding in the area and so happy we did. Our expectations were completely exceeded. Not only was the food great, but the service was genuinely excellent. We were treated like family from the minute we walked through the door. So glad to have found this amazing restaurant - can’t wait to come back!

What a cool spot! Had an amazing burger, I like that they work with local farmers to source ingredients etc. Service was great, food was great, they have cool art on the wall that looks cool and you can buy it. I thought that was awesome.

Perfect for a truly local experience. So nice to find a restaurant that is celebrating both heritage and new twists on traditional menu items. This is a personality plus place. Loved the cocktails and preserves too. Stop here!

Is it possible for a fork to be both twisted and perfect?
Well… in St. Paul, Alberta — apparently, yes.

The Twisted Fork is more than a restaurant. It’s a culinary statement. A place where comfort food is elevated to something memorable, made with care, and served with joy. From the moment you walk in, the cleanliness, decor, and welcoming energy tell you you’re in good hands.

🍽 The Food: Top-Notch from Start to Finish

We tried a wide variety — and honestly, not a single weak link:
• Mac and cheese so creamy and customizable it feels like a hug from the inside.
• Chicken wings with a flavor punch that would make a BBQ pitmaster jealous.
• Burger and yam fries — I don’t know what they do to those fries, but I’m telling you… probably the best I’ve had in my life.
• Roasted red pepper soup — rich, balanced, full of flavor.
• Black Forest waffles — dessert and nostalgia rolled into one.
Everything was clearly crafted with excellence and intention.

👨‍🍳 Shout-Out to the Team

To the cooks in the back: you’re crushing it. Thank you for your craft.
And to our server — professional, kind, friendly. A true example of hospitality done right.

🏡 The Atmosphere

Spacious, spotless, and inviting — with a beautiful curated display of jams, compotes, preserves, and even a bit of local history that gives the space personality and charm. This is a place you’ll want to return to with friends.

🌿 A Word of Encouragement

To the Twisted Fork team — keep going. What you’re doing matters. You’re building more than meals; you’re building moments.

“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NLT)

Thank you for blessing your town with this kind of place. We’re cheering you on — and we’ll be back.
