My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Portions are generous and prices are decent. I found the service to be OK. Servers were very pleasant but it did take an hour to get our food. I have to say, however, that our food was absolutely fantastic! I had the steak. For the price, I was not expecting such a high quality steak. They hand cut the steaks and did a great job of trimming it. This thing was probably over the 10 oz mark. It was delicious. My wife ordered the pork chop. They said that this is why we waited as it's the longest thing to cook. Either way, this thing was also huge and really tasty. We will definitely be back.

Best restaurant in town, the staff are great, the food is great. Their homemade condiments/jams/ preserves are used throughout their menu, including the cocktails!

Very poor service. I sat for 45 minutes after my order was taken with no food or acknowledgement. I was tired of waiting so I got up and left. No one noticed.

Incredible, locally sourced food. They just know what they're doing and cook everything really well. Great selection of in-house made jams and preserves, too. Thank you!

Great hidden gem. Had beef vegetable soup and bison burger. All gluten free which was essential.

Well..... this place is a must! First the decor of TF is full of local artists, which you can purchase, plus the feel of the restaurant is very welcoming. We got lucky and got a table, it was booked solid with reservations! Our lovely waitress greeted us very politely and got us our drinks. She came and got our orders, my wife had the bison burger with yam fries, I had the house burger with regular fries. For our appetizer we had a house made preserve sampler with fresh crossiants. They were amazing.... we had a Holly jolly (taste like Christmas lol), a citrus marmalade, and a blueberry jalapeño jam (my favorite lol) delicious!! Plus the crossiants were freshly baked, the burgers...... probably the best burgers I've had in a long time.... the bison had the blueberry jalapeño jam on it with a garlic aioli i... incredible. Mine had the house made BBQ sauce, bacon, plus some pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes. Again just incredible. They both had a local cheese from vermillion, it was a peppercorn cheddar, which added such a nice flavour to the burgers. Delicious!! Our waitress told us all about everything and answered all of my questions (which were alot lol) but she did it all with a smile and was extremely pleasant :) we had the creme Brule for dessert, which they flavour depending on the month I believe... today was espresso creme Brule.... ssssooooooooo good. I basically licked the bowl clean. Even after the owner came and we had a great chat about her preserves, what she uses, how she blends the flavours and why she picks those ingredients. She was very knowledgeable and you could tell.... we bought 2 jars of jam, one was the blueberry jalapeño and an blueberry earl grey.... which she brought us a sample of it, such a unique flavour and so delicious! Highly recommend coming here. They support local, use local ingredients, and combine them into such wonderful flavours. You will not be disappointed with this place. Will eat here again. 12/10. Oh! The dill sauce that the sweet potato fries comes with.... do yourself a favour and get some with your fries lol taste like dill pickle chips! So simple but so good!

Absolutely fabulous!!!!!

I was here yesterday with my husband and a friend of ours. I had a virgin caesar and the fish tacos; my husband a half order of poutine; and our friend the butternut squash soup.

Where do I begin . . .

My caesar was almost a meal in itself. So many lovely garnishes.

My three fish tacos were yummy.

My husband loved his poutine: best gravy ever. I had a sample and confirmed. The half size was more than enough for lunch.

Our friend's soup came with two slices of buttered bread. She loved it. I had a taste and confirmed how good it was.

Also bought a jar of whiskey seed mustard and mustard BBQ sauce. I cannot wait to try these when cooking.

I live in Edmonton and will eat here from now on when in St. Paul.

Comfortable, relaxed, clean. Very good service and food. Many menu items are gluten free and dairy free.
I had the buffalo burger with sweet potato fries. We also had the Tai chicken rice bowl. Both meals were excellent.

Dietary restrictions: Many gluten and dairy free options.

Service was excellent. Most food was OK, but $7 for five shrimp add-on to an otherwise veggie dish felt expensive. Fellow diners had small burgers with sweet potato and regular fries, as well as creme brulee. Sampler of house jams with two croissants was very good.

I had the double bacon burger (probably called something different, but alas, I can't remember) and it was excellent. Real quality beef flavor cooked with fire... Can't be beat.
Service was polite and quick to respond.
My only item I feel needs a little work is product knowledge from our server. Other than that, this place is probably the best spot for quality food in a hundred kilometers.
I'd give it more stars if I could.

Went here with my friends and the food was very good. The only complaint I would have is that two of my friends ordered a burger and only got the burger with no salad, fries, or any other side.
