Very fresh products. The store is nice and clean, the staff are so friendly and informative.

I echo previous reviews - Amaranth has wonderful local produce and an excellent selection of items. They're also proactive about asking customers which items they would like stocked - I added an item and within a few weeks I saw the type of milk. That tells me they pay attention to their customers.
Also, the 12% days and other promotions are great ways to save money. It's appreciated.

Amaranth Foods is well worth the trip for high quality and great selection. Many products are hard to find elsewhere. I stock up on Gold Forest Grains here. Lots of high quality bulk foods and great organic options.

My husband and I have been buying our groceries at Amaranth foods at the Enjoy Centre for the last 12 years. There’s been change in faces over the years, but every staff member have always been friendly and make you feel appreciated and welcomed.
That welcoming feeling, and gratitude that you get from them made me want to be a part of the team. I have been working there for the last four years and could not be happier.

Amaranth is truly one of a kind. Every visit feels like more than just grocery shopping—it’s about community, care, and wellness. Their focus on local and organic products is unmatched, and I love knowing that over half of what I bring home comes from Canadian-owned makers and farmers.

The staff are always kind, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile—whether it’s helping me find the right supplement or sharing tips on new products. The variety is incredible: fresh produce, nourishing pantry staples, natural body care, and unique local finds that you won’t see anywhere else.

They have a really great selection of foods and I have asked in the past about ordering various items that they don't carry and they always find them for me! The staff are very helpful.

Their produce policy doesn't make sense. Sometimes we buy mangoes or other produce that is not yet ripe and takes several days to ripen. Before it even gets ripe, it sometimes starts to get mouldy or rotten/black. However when you take it back to the store they say they cannot accept returns after 2-3 days of purchase. That makes no sense at all for produce that takes several days after purchase to ripen! Blush lane is much, much better about this. As well, Blush lane's prices are better too, especially for produce such as tomatoes.

Been there several times in the last week, not a single parking space in that giant parking lot, I’m done, don’t need to waste my time looking for a parking spot

The products are excellent! But the staff and customer benefits are attritions. No matter how much you spend too don’t seem very valued.
