I usually come to this Boston Pizza, but my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered a large Royal Hawaiian, which should be 15 inches in diameter, but what I received was clearly closer to a 13-inch pizza—basically a medium. When you’re paying nearly $40 for a large pizza, you expect to get the proper size.
When I questioned it, the manager came out and insisted it was the correct size, even though it obviously wasn’t. On top of that, there was a very large spider in the men’s washroom, which doesn’t exactly give a clean or comfortable impression.
The waiter was nice and did their job well, but overall the place feels like it’s in need of a reno and better quality control. Sadly, this visit only deserves 2 out of 5 stars from me.

Worst service. Took order, dropped off food and then did not even bother to ask how the food was and if we needed anything else.

Want to give a shout out to Shannon! She has been our server on both sides and always does a great job! Pretty awesome when your server always remembers what you drink and keeps them topped up without having to flag them down! Quick to take orders and always helps you with a smile! You will be lucky if you get to have her as your server! Thanks again Shannon!

When the Enjoy Centre double booked our lunch for my mom’s 75th bday and cancelled a week prior (we booked in April), this BPs came to the rescue! They offered the private room and their service was amazing! All on time, hot, and they even handled the cake we brought in without charging us a $3 pp cutting fee like enjoy centre does. Thank you so much! You made the bday great!

Went to Boston Pizza for lunch. The waitress was great, but I feel so bad for her. She had so many tables to take care of and she was doing it by herself. At this point management should step in and help her at least take some tables or help her clean tables. She had about 10 tables she had to take on herself. As a server myself, I cannot imagine having to take on a load as big as she had to today. She deserves a raise. 5 stars for Penny, she was amazing.

Came in at 7:30 tonight and we were promptly seated by the hostess who said our server would be right with us. We sat for 10+ minutes and a server never came to take our drink order so we got up and left at the 15 minute mark.
I've never walked out of a place before. There were only 2 other tables occupied while we were there, and 3 or 4 servers working, so I'm not sure what the issue was.
I notice we aren't the only group who have had this issue on a Monday night judging by the other reviews...

Boston Pizza itself? Solid. The staff were friendly, the food came out hot, and the place is clean and well-run. No complaints about the business.
But here’s the deal: trying to get to this place — or any place in St. Albert — is a test of patience and sanity. The city’s traffic planning is a joke. You’ll hit every single red light on your way in, and again on your way out. The lights are mistimed, construction is endless, and traffic flow feels like it was designed by someone who’s never actually driven a car.
St. Albert is a growing city stuck in a small-town mindset with no accountability when it comes to infrastructure. It’s not the restaurant’s fault, but it’s the reason I wouldn’t recommend dining here unless you’re ready to add 40 minutes of unnecessary frustration to your day. Until the city fixes its traffic issues, every business here is getting one star from me.

Service was amazing. My friends and I were there for the Oilers game. The manager on shift Tammy was very helpful and came an checked on us to ensure we were happy and well taken care of.
