Visited for the first time. As a Mexican national, I truly recommend the Carnitas Tacos. The meat tastes exactly like in my hometown. A suggestion: Adding a slice of avocado would make it even more perfect. Best Mexican food in St. Albert. I will definitely go back and try Chorizo.

2024 update: my rating still stands but not due to the wait. We were tempted to leave after seeing how dirty it was in there. There was black mold or something under the cap and in the threads of the re-usable water bottle they gave us, the glasses were dirty, and the movie poster/wall next to us was splattered with old food (hopefully that and not boogers).It was $85 for a dinner plate of mediocre nachos, 4 tacos, and two margaritas.This was the last time we’ll be there unfortunately.Was there tonight with my family. It was quite busy and we waited about an hour for our food from the time we ordered. I started to doubt if we had actually ordered as I saw other (smaller) tables being turned over multiple times while we waited. Would’ve probably gave 3-4 stars if the wait wasn’t so long.The food was decent, but at the end of the day they were just tacos. They weren’t overly flavourful and were fairly basic. Mine was basically chicken, coleslaw, mayo type sauce and pineapple. After the hour wait I had hoped for something more..

The service was good. The tequila was great, I was honestly not that impressed with the tacos. The meat was dry and crunchy, not crispy but dried out so much it was hard. Would not eat again without some improvement there.

Super dark. Couldn't read the menu, or see our dinners. The table was super small, uncomfortable chairs. Food was alright. Corn was soggy. Salsa and guacamole were excellent. Tacos were good.
The tacos were great! Definitely don't skimp on meat. The carnita taco was amazing. Tender chunks with a crispy outside. That being said, still kinda expensive for two tacos.

I have been here number of times and loved it. At our recent experience the food was not as good as it was in the past, it was bland and sloppily put together. If this was our first experience we would definitely not be back, however, now we will look at other options before deciding to come back.

Great salsas made in-house. I had the Chicken tacos al pastor and the meat was plentiful and nicely flavoured. The server was friendly and helpful. It was definitely worth a few minutes on the Henday for me to get here. I'll be back.

Not a good experience,as soon as we sat down we were inundated with flies, we looked around and there was fly tapes covered with flies everywhere in the restaurant, we ordered the fondue and chicken al pastor tacos both were terrible, no flavor whatsoever, the Taco's were filled with dry cabbage, dry flavorless chicken and almost no cilantro or pineapple, these were not Mexican tacos, bathroom was filthy. First and last time for this restaurant.
