I love this cafe! I go here to study pretty often, and I always get a black coffee (delicious) and a berry white chocolate scone (even more delicious!)! It’s a great environment to relax, study and chat in, and the employees always deliver great service!

My friends and I recently visted this location and , and sadly, our experience was far from pleasant due to an interaction with one of the male staff members. Throughout our visit, he repeatedly made rude and disgusted faces at us, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. His attitude was condescending, and some of his behaviours and the faces he made felt racially motivated.
We were looking forward to enjoying our time, but this male staff's behavior ruined the atmosphere. This experience has left us feeling unsafe and unwated. I DO NOT recommend this location to others. I hope the management addresses this kind of unprofessional behavior and educated their staff on professionalism and respect to help foster a welcoming enviornment.

One of the workers at this cafe was extremely racist to me and my group of friends. As soon as we walked into the cafe he refused to serve us and walked into the back room. He also made disgusting faces at us. We felt very unsafe and targeted. Unacceptable behaviour. He needs to get fired.
Please stay safe and don’t go here. The server guy was EXTREMELY racist. He literally started making faces and putting on such a rude attitude right after he forgot to make my drink. Even another girl ordering noticed his attitude. Rudest interaction of my life.

Stopped in to try to get some studying done on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was pretty unenthusiastic, but my drink was made quickly, however I wasn't asked if I would be staying in or to go, so I was given my Chai in a paper cup, and cookie in a paper sleeve. The chai latte was very bland and ginger forward, and definitely unsweetened, and the ginger cookie was very dry and crumbly. Something to keep in mind is that a lot of seniors come through, and have a bit of an entitled attitude toward which tables they get, as they don't want to sit toward the back, and will ask you to move from your table, I had multiple people ask me in the 30 minutes I was there. I do not intend on returning.

I had to visit this cafè today because the one I normally go to was closed?
It is warm outside today I was outdoors before I left my apartment. So I wore a sleeveless shirt out today, pants and sneakers to ensure warmth.
It was warm outside this morning, so the air conditioning was on in the Cafê I understand that. I had two hot drinks while sitting in the Cafê and thank goodness I did because it was freezing ? in this cafè. Regardless when you are sitting for longer periods of time me you tend to catch a chill. But it was unnecessarily cold. I am only writing a review like this because after even asking to turn down the AC system I am still freezing I have goosebumps literally.
Not to mention when I went up to the worker I asked him to turn it down a bunch please because it is freezing cold, and he responded with "we had it set like that because an employee gets hot." I don't know about you but isn't this establishment for public patrons. I would think it would be important to put your customers needs first.
Considering I spent 20$ at your cafè today I would expect a lot better customer service. It is not my concern weather the employees are uncomfortable. I am still uncomfortable and freezing my butt off. I guess I will make sure to wear my winter jacket next time so the employees can be accommodated.
So ridiculous it is September now, turn off the AC for goodness sake. My hair is literally standing up on my arms ?
This is the shirt I was wearing for reference!

What Starbucks used to be and the coffee is better. As Starbucks moves to a drive thru model and abandons the third space model which brought it all of its success. Good Earth makes the perfect place to grab a great cup coffee and sandwich while enjoying the company of a friend.

Good coffee (though one should expect that for a $7 coffee). Barista was not very friendly, but who is on a Sunday morning at work? Overall will be back

Normally love Good Earth but this location was pretty unkept. Was there for an hour and a half and not one table was wiped (mine had a large dried coffee puddle on it when I sat down). The dish bin was overflowing with dishes as well. It wasn’t busy, so they really should’ve had the time to clean (the cooler was broken anyways, so they weren’t making food). The girls behind the counter didn’t seem in a rush to make improvements either :/

Nice location. Customer service is great and fast. The place has always been packed the times I've gone, which is a good sign. And now that the weather is nice, there's outdoor seating provided if you can't find seating inside.

We frequent Good Earth about 3x per week by ourselves and with friends. The service is great and staff are kind! The cafe needs a thorough cleaning; windows are filthy, and generally the entire space is dirty w dust & stains! The furniture is torn, and in rough shape! It needs an overhaul from top to bottom. We’re going elsewhere more now and this saddens us as we live in the area. Not what we expect in our city of St Albert.
