This is one of St. Albert's hidden gems. Call and place an order or arrive by noon to guarantee your favorite doughnut, buns, bread, cookies, and other yummy items aren't sold out. The bakery items are authentic and delicious. It's definitely a place you want to revisit often.

We go here for just about all of our birthday treat needs. Thank you for the adorable Avocado cake and matching avocado sugar cookies (which I failed to get a good photo of) you made for my avocado-loving 4 year old today. They were perfect!

Bought a bunch of their sugar cookies at Christmas time for an event. Purchased them Saturday, they were in our house (not frozen) and ate them Sunday at an event. They were so rock hard the kids and even adults couldn’t bite into them (we were actually scared to chip a tooth). It wasn’t even just the icing, as we tried taking that off to see if it was easier to bite the cookie- nope, still rock hard. The shortbread cookies I also bought were flavourless and crumbled apart when you picked them up. Really disappointed as I’ve been going there for years annually and have recommended this local bakery to many friends and family- no longer. Everyone was so disappointed as we were the ones bringing the desserts and they were inedible.

We love this bakery. They make the best cheese and cinnamon and raisin bagels. We order 6 dozen of each every time we go to Calgary to visit our grandsons. Of course, we have to stop at the bakery on our way home to buy bagels and snikerdoodle cookies to take home with us.

Genuine question, is this owned by Baker Bobs daughters from Grande Prairie because they taste like his, he retired 15 years ago and are easily the most delicious donuts you can find in Canada. I will be coming back weekly for a box of donuts now. Thank you for the delicious donuts and the trip back to my

I can't believe I went this long without trying Grandin... Now it's all I can think about. Their doughnuts are out of this world, the best doughnuts I've ever had. The cinnamon twist is my favorite so far. Also tried the sausage rolls and I'll be getting them again. They have an amazing selection of bread and really anything you would want from a bakery. The staff is absolutely amazing and we even got a free loaf of bread since it was our first visit. How lovely. Will be back soon. Worth the drive from the city.

My daughter picked out a cake for her Sweet 16 Birthday party. We custom ordered it and when we went to pick it up the day of the party, one of the staff was quite rude to us. We then go on to find out that hey had made someone else's cake and there was nothing that could be done at this point. We were offered a cake that was premade which ended up looking like a hotmess. My daughter was in tears and this really took the sweet out of her Sweet 16. Never heard anything and were just brushed off as if this was no big deal. Will never be a customer of this bakery again and will be certain to share my experience. Would give a 0/5 if I could.

I usually love their donuts but it seems like they’re getting smaller. But their donuts usually taste amazing.

There are some delicious new cookies, courtesy of a new baker at the bakery. I had the pumpkin spice, white chocolate ones. These are by far the best cookies that they offer (I normally get anything but the sugar cookies at this bakery - the sugar cookies look nice, but I don't enjoy eating them). These new pumpkin spice, white chocolate cookies were caramelized around the edges and soooo chewy! I ate all six cookies over two days because they were so yummy and I couldn't stop going over to the counter and grabbing another (consider finding some friends or coworkers to share with before purchasing)! I am a regular customer of this bakery because I have a nut allergy and the bakery is one of the few nut-free in the Edmonton area.

I like Grandin bakery. They have good cakes. I can't eat a lot of their stuff but what I have eaten was good.

I was craving a pastry. More specifically, a donut of some sort, so I, open my Apple Maps, and search for donuts nearby. I am not from Saint Albert, but I am somewhat familiar, and have conducted business there over the years.I saw some reviews for a bakery located about nine minutes from Jensen Lakes, where I was working (home sales) and thought I would check it out. No frills, but I could confirm from the search that they had donuts.Plenty of accessible parking and not located in a difficult-to-get-to shopping area, Grandin Bakery reminds one of a classic, bake shop that uses familiar ingredients, without compromise of quality and delivers consistent service to its patrons and passersby.Great selection of candy, breads, bagels, cakes, and cupcakes, cookies, and donuts.“We are pretty picked over,” proclaimed the friendly lady behind the counter.Picked over? They had everything I wanted. Everything looked so fresh, and I will definitely be back for the cheese bread and buttery dinner rolls. I ordered two dozen donut centers with cinnamon and sugar dusting. This came to a very reasonable five dollars and whatever cents.I took my paper bag full of donut centers (holes) and tossed one or two in my mouth en route to my car. They delivered. Soft yeast donuts, that were airy and flavourful. If I wanted a yeast donut- and I did- these would be the exact ones that I would hope to have. Will be back.

The best donuts EVER and I mean EVER. You would be lucky to actually see a full display of donuts. They used to offer pre-orders on donuts but a few people didn't pick up their orders and now they don't do that. I would like to suggest that instead of punishing everyone and getting rid of pre-orders, start charging for pre-ordered donuts and all other baked goods. I will gladly pre-pay to pre-order and get the best donuts.
