What a fantastic place. They have an aisle full of different olive oils , meats ? , and cookies ? We went to get some baked goods , Nutella donuts ?, Nutella puff pastries, and triple chocolate conolli. We also got the focaccia with peppers. Reasonably priced and extremely helpful staff. Will definitely be back.

Ordered the red velvet cake for my daughter’s birthday. It was moist, dense, delicious! And very reasonably priced as well. I will definitely be ordering more cakes in the future. You should to! A++++++++

Fantastic coffee! I enjoy coming here after a long ski in the winter or bike ride in the summer. My best friend growing up is Italian. I feel like I am entering her mom’s kitchen when I shop here. I especially like their croissants-almond, pistachio, and chocolate.

Its a lovely day out for my gf and myself, we're coming from Redwater. We always find what we were looking for and always something extra, who can resist!! Love the produce, and deli sections but even the goods on the shelf, I haven't seen since I left Europe. I hope Mercato are here 50 yrs from now!! ?

Nice shop, good deli and bakery inside. Prices are the same for many items as a regular grocery (milk, sandwich meat etc.) but more expensive for some others.

I ordered a cake for a bridal shower in the shape of a heart in all white with the word bride in light pink. I requested it to be picked up Feb 27.When I went to pick up, the cake was peachy-orange toned.It wasn't what I asked for at all. (I wanted a very light ivory or white cake)The baker saw a photo of what I requested and it was a pretty simple request so I wasn't sure how or why it was orange. The baker wasn't being very accommodating butI spoke to Victoria and she was SO KIND and helpful and reassured us that the cake will be redone in the color we asked for. I have since recommended mercato to some friends.Thank you Victoria for your help and patience.It didn't go unnoticed. Much appreciated. ?

Amazing store ! Wonderful goodies ! Too many to decide .Awesome produce -- fresh, local and good price . And the deli meats , cheeses and olives are fantastic! So happy to have this in St Albert!

Overall the grocery store is good, very expensive and things are over priced. The sandwiches which they are known for “panini” are not made fresh at this location. They are DAYS old and stale bread. Definitely worth driving and going to can Italian centre on the west end or north because those are fresh and delicious.
Large variety of cakes and cake slices, and I have to say the cakes are delicious ? they also have a large variety of other sweets, very friendly staff. This place is always busy

Grocery store is super cool and bakery looked amazing, but our order was so so wrong but still, we got the canoli and cake (wrong flavors), but everything was all stale. We did unfortunately go 30 mins before closing, but everything on the shelf was basically filled so wonder if they continue to sell old products.

Love this place have been coming here for a year. Same with the ones in Edmonton. We do a lot of shopping here and drink a lot of coffee and eat lots of desserts. All I wanted in my cappuccino was a heavy cream as opposed to whole milk they continually say they have none, although the bakery uses whipping cream on a daily basis Give me a break even expect to pay for the upgrade and they can’t make it happen.
