I absolutely love to stop by to grab their garlic fries! So good! The whole place smells amazing, you have so many choices of food and drink. Staff is always friendly.

Had the most amazing experience here this week. Got the two meat combo and tried the pulled pork and smoked chicken. For sides we got poutine and Cesar salad. Almost everything is local and so delicious, and it’s got excellent portions. Service and atmosphere is wonderful.

I’ve ordered D’arcys Meats for year as well the weekend meals so I was pretty excited to see what the restaurant offered! The brisket is so tender, juicy and delicious! Not overly seasoned and not salty. It was my favourite item. The ribs were fall off the bone with just the amount of sauce. Extra sauce offered on the side. You choose your side or sides depending on your menu choice. We chose fries and coleslaw. The fries are thin and shoestring. Tasty! We tried the coleslaw but found it on the dry side. We will try a different side next time. Next time. Yes, we will be back!

My Wife and I were excited to try this place and unfortunately were disappointed. We ordered quite a bit so I will try to be fair as some stuff was better than others. The sides were the most enjoyable part of the meal. Flavoured and you can see there was effort. Garlic fries, street corn. Pit beans. Potato salad. All quite good. Corn bread was a bit dry but no worse than most places. The smoked meat was where the disappointments lie.Jalapeño Cheese Sausage- 3/5.So many different kinda of sausage so its hard to rate. Zero spice but not too cheesey. Wasnt bad.Brisket 2.5/5Our orders were very different. Hers was very dry and she didnt eat it. I took it home. Mine was very fatty which was a positive for me. I dunno, brisket is hard. I cant do it. It was alright.St. louis Ribs 1/5. She got dry rub and i got saucy. Inedible. I dont know who I pissed off but i got half of one rib and the burnt ends. So dry i couldnt eat a bite. Hers was just dry but she actually got an order of ribs. That picture is my entire portion of ribs as I didnt eat any. This is why places sell burnt ends separately. Dont give these to your customers who order ribs.Smoked Chicken 1/5Zero flavour. Boring. Dark meat was edible, i ate the drumb stick. The white meat was concrete. Couldnt swallow a bite. Super disappointed.I ordered a 3 meat combo and 2 out of the 3 were inedible. That sucks. Maybe this isnt for them.

The food here is AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend going here for a bite to eat. The food comes out on a lined tray, which you are going to need. The meal I had it was coming out the sides, so I was still able to finish all my food from the tray as well.Again I highly recommend going here and trying it out.

Come here for lunch often as I work a block away. Normally the food is pretty decent. Often times there is only one person working, struggling to pump out meals for the 10 patrons waiting. Today again, only one poor guy working and my food was absolutely terrible. Fries were burned to a crisp. Inedible as they turned to dust the moment you bite down. Burger was burned, bun was burned. Inedible meal today. This place needs to hire more staff, until then I won’t be back unfortunately. It’s tough to throw away $25 on a meal you can’t eat.

First time trying this place. Atmosphere is nothing much, looks like so many other strip mall wing and taco joints, however the service was really good. Friendly, helpful, and cheerful, as well as effective. Jose actually cares about whether you enjoy your food and was great at ensuring the meal was completely gluten-free.The food is also very good. The beans are excellent, and I do not like most BBQ joints' beans. The fries are homemade, and the corn bread is moist and tasty. They even brought me some maple syrup for it. Usually, I use honey, but as it turns out, maples syrup is actually a great alternative.Had the brisket, a nice combination of lean meat from the flat and fattier meat from the point. Both cuts were tender and moist, but we would prefer a more pronounced smoke flavour. This one is a little to genteel for true Texas Q. I think a little mesquite mixed in with what seemed like oak or cherry as the main wood could develop the smoke flavour. The ribs were very good, moist, tender, and have a good flavour. We thought the value for money spent was very good. Super for 2, including a beer, for under 50 bucks is pretty hard to do these days. Will definitely go back.

I've been to Texas and had top notch BBQ there. Darcy’s Smokehouse is better. Great people, local ingredients, and a local vibe. We need more of these places in St. Albert. Go here!!

We were excited to try Darcy's Smokehouse based on the reviews, and we were fans of Links previously. Unfortunately, the BBQ itself let us down. We ordered a whole pound of brisket and it was all fatty brisket, not a single slice from the flat, which was disappointing. The brisket did not have any smoke or much flavour at all. We did not finish it.The side ribs tasted better, but they were overcooked and bordering on dry. The sauce was decent and the smoke flavour came through, but still not what you want from a BBQ rib.The pulled pork sandwich was just OK. The pork itself was dry and bland. The slaw was decent, and so was the bun.The fries (regular and garlic) were the best part of the meal, served the same way as Links before. Overall, the meal was disappointing.
