A small Italian family owned restaurant in the heart of downtown St. Albert. The owner met us at the door, showing us to our table. The service and food were outstanding, giving us the total experience of excellent. He made sure our evening was one to remember. We would highly recommend Luisa Risto. A side note . We have also ordered take out and it is always top notch. Very good value for your money.
I had an amazing meal at Luisa Risto today. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were prompt, extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the food was incredible. The best Italian food I have ever had. I highly recommend checking out this little gem!
The owner is super engaging he ran across to find us at the Arden theatre - to bring my glasses I had left behind in the table. Wow! On top of that...the food was so delicious. This place is a little gem. We'll definitely be back.
Tasty food and great service. Recommend reservations during Friday nights and weekends. Also had the Carbonara which had lots of meat.
Delicious food, good portions, great service.
Very nice meal, excellent service from Ella. Explained the menu really well. Great food and wine
Great service, arrancini was amazing. Great vibe. Perfectly timed service by Beth. Welcoming, warm, Canadian! No American wine, so that's good. 🤓
We had a very quiet dinner on a Wednesday afternoon, before the dinner rush. Our server was so genuine, kind and attentive. Food was so good! The restaurant is small and tucked away downtown St Albert, very quaint and cozy. The calamari is some of the best I've had, the dill pickle pizza was so yummy!
Excellent food and service. Shoutout to Ed and his amazing staff!
Ed is amazing!!!! The staff are so accommodating and the food is so good. Excellent place to celebrate something special or just a meal out close to home. Definitely worth 5 stars.

I asked for hot sauce and was told they are not a Mexican restaurant they are Italian. A simple no would have sufficed. The food was ok but I don’t get the hype about this place.
My husband and I got a reservation here for Valentines Day. We started out with the mozzarella spears. The breading was nice and crunchy and the cheese was gooey.I had the Vegetali and my husband had the feature (Veal Parm). Finished it off with the Tarimisu which was made in house and light and fluffy. Perfect way to end our meal. The portion sizes were HUGE and the prices are great for the food quality and portion sizes. The food was absolutely phenomenal. You can tell they use high end ingredients and take pride in what they serve. The Rosso Martini and white Sangria were my favorite cocktails. From the moment we walked in, we were treated more like family than guests. Ella was our server and she was knowledgeable and very sweet. Highly suggest skipping the standard chain restaurants that St.Albert has to offer and come check out this quaint little gem on Perron street. Bonus that it is family run and supports local businesses!
A great little place to go! The food was really really tasty.
First time and loved the place!
My husband and I tried this quaint Italian restaurant last night….. it exceeded our expectations.
The atmosphere was great, our table was fairly private.
The food was absolutely delicious! We especially enjoyed the calamari (not too breaded and very tender) and the special of the evening: lamb shank over pasta. Yum
The service was truly exceptional! Thank you Ella!
We can’t wait to come back.
