I have been coming to Luisa’s for years and it holds such a special place in my heart. The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. The servers know your name and remember your order. The food is hearty, delicious and best when shared. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Everything is watched under the careful eye of Ed, who ensures every small detail is perfected for each and every guest.
Took my team here earlier this week for a little night out and everything was perfect! Ed was even able to accommodate some last minute changes to our reservation. Thanks again to Ed, Sue and the rest of the team for a great night. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Stay away from this place. The owner likes to troll the people who leave reviews that don't promote his little fiefdom. The food isn't terrible but you can get way better in this city, even from the Italian supermarket in Sherwood Park (and it will be cheaper). Just look at the google reviews for this place and the owners whiney responses to them trying to use positive reviews that nothing could ever be wrong nor deficient.

We recently celebrated my wife’s 60th birthday at Luisa Risto, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. We started with the calamari, olives, and other, then followed up with the mains including the amazing sambuca prawns, calamari, cannelloni, etc. — all absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The food throughout the night was excellent, with fresh ingredients and rich, authentic flavours.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our family feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The warm and inviting atmosphere added to the celebration and made the night feel truly special.
Highly recommend Luisa Risto for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Eaten here several times. The mussels with honey/gorgonzola cream as a starter are enough to get me to come back.
Servers are always friendly, but the place can get quite busy.
Probably best to make a reservation if you’re planning to go there in the evening. Not a very large place.

This was our first time here, after reading wonderful reviews. Luisa doesn't disappoint. The food was bursting with flavor and we had the warm chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Heavenly!!! It was our anniversary, and the owner not only gave us excellent service, a lovely card, but also his terrific sense of humor. The prices are excellent along with every bite of food. This will be a regular place for us from now on :)

Everything was very nice! Our server Ed was fantastic and had great customer service. The spot is nice, small, and calmly lit!
My husband and I recently dined at this restaurant. When we first walked in, we didnt have a reservation but the hostess, Jewel, was lovely and able to accommodate us around reservations. Our server was a young lady (we don't recall her name) who was also very personable and offered continuous, great service throughout our meal. The food was a 10 out of 10 and we will happily return. However, though the restaurant was filled we felt the owner went out of his way to avoid us. We watched him interact with every other table and guest during our dining experience, and though he walked by our table numerous times making eye contact, he never said a word. We left feeling happy overall with both the service and food however couldn't help but feel unwelcomed by the owner. Hoping to feel treated like the rest of the guests during our next visit.

We spent our 4th anniversary with Ed and his staff as part of our annual tradition of reliving our special day in a new city with a local restaurant. The food was exceptional, the staff were amazing, especially our waitress Beth and the experience was one of our best yet! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!!

Visiting family over the weekend and my sister and brother in law suggested going to Luisa's for dinner. Fantastic food! Daughter had pizza, I had the Giorgio (as did the BIL) and sister had the carbonera. Olives and bruschetta for starters. Loved it all. Highly recommend you go!

A small Italian family owned restaurant in the heart of downtown St. Albert. The owner met us at the door, showing us to our table. The service and food were outstanding, giving us the total experience of excellent. He made sure our evening was one to remember. We would highly recommend Luisa Risto. A side note . We have also ordered take out and it is always top notch. Very good value for your money.
