Great place for Saturday breakfast

First of all, the beds are EXTREMELY comfortable. If everything else was better, my rating would be better. Although the front desk staff is top notch (I would rate THEM 5 star), we had a few issues. A/C unit did not work in our room but the staff happily switched us to another room. Our new room had no functioning fan in the bathroom & the tub clogged, I’m sure with hair. I tried taking the screw-in plug out to unplug it BUT it wouldn’t unscrew which is probably why nobody has fixed it. Wall paper is curling up in areas around the hall walls but could easily be fixed with some glue, just cosmetic stuff (I see details by my own fault). I mentioned these things to the front desk. Overall the place was descent & clean. We were there for a family reunion & we felt a bit cheated by the hot snacks we ordered for $165+ that was supposed to feed 30 & consisted of a bunch of greasy items that we did not finish. Mozzarella sticks, spring rolls, boneless pork, onion rings, wings (I think) but no dips and burned, presentation was poor, looked like it was all thrown onto a baking sheet like nobody cared. I wouldn’t recommend ordering. My sister, who was the trip organizer, questioned the food & the staff said that it was appies for 30 ppl. Our expectation was different.

Unpleasant and uncomfortable. We walked in and approached desk. Said hello to "Treyton" (not sure how he spells it) and without looking up he said abruptly, "You'll have to sit down, I'm in the middle of a check-in." This was a surprise as there was no one at the counter or in the lobby. Suddenly a woman appeared from down the hall and he talked to her - I assume she was the guest he was checking in. She left and he took 2 phone calls before greeting us. He refused to hand us the debit/credit machine to insert/tap our card and instead we had to give him our card - he insisted this was "company policy" but it is very uncommon for any business to handle your card. He was not polite - just stuck his hand out without looking up. We asked to speak to a manager and were told we would receive a phone call from them, but so far that hasn't happened. The elevator floor was filthy. Room was clean but there were no available outlets except for a worn out extension cord and ovetloaded power bar lying on the floor. We asked for late check-out (noon). At 1155am housekeeping knocked, and I said I would be out in 5 min. They knocked again 2 min later and said "If you don't leave you will lose your security deposit." I am aware of this but didn't appreciate the threat. There was a man in the elevator holding a bong and he continued to wander around the lobby and entrance carrying it. Staff saw him but said nothing. When processing our refund for the $300 security deposit, the clerk had to call someone else for help. Surprising since i assume this is standard procedure? Then the machine didn't work the first time. The clerk said "Do you want me to try again?" Obviously! Otherwise the $300 would not be refunded?? The lobby, entrance and elevator reeked of smoke, marijuana and musty carpet. Not a comfortable atmosphere and we will definitely not stay again.

All the usual amenities (except coffee maker) were here and room was clean and comfortable. We initially had problems with the wifi connection but the front desk staff went above and beyond to get it sorted for us. The (included) hot breakfast was very good. Even though there were a lot of hockey families staying at the hotel, it was quiet and pleasant.

A traditional family style restaurant with excellent food, friendly staff, great prices, and a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a hidden gem in St. Albert for those looking for a relaxing meal.

We held our daughter's wedding at the St albert Inn on Oct 8th and it was perfect!. The guests complemented on how clean the rooms were. The food served was excellent, on time, hot and delicious. Anne and her staff not only attended to every detail but were very helpful with new Ideas. If you are planning an event- this is the place to go.

After hosting our sons wedding reception in this hotel, we stayed in a room for the night. The hotel is definitely dated in the foyer as well as the room. The only significant issue we had was an alleged noise complaint against us (2 people) in our room which was not verified by hotel staff according to their own policies and procedures. This lead to a early morning phone call from the front desk advising us to immediately vacate the hotel and having the police attend to remove us from the hotel. Hotel management eventually admitted that staff did not follow their own policy and procedures relating to the noise complaint and should not have involved the police at all in this situation. Unfortunately all the hotel would do is apologize to us for this situation and pay for our room. Would definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel is actually dated and could use some renovations. Breakfast buffet is a good deal but the staff in the Breakfast room were having a lot of difficulty keeping the area clean and stocked with food as it was quite busy. We found the front desk staff were very friendly and willing to help with all of our questions.

When arrived at our room the thermostat was showing 11 degrees. It was damn cold. The thermostat was not responsive. At least the manager was able to find us a new room. The rooms are very dated, carpets are stained and in general the place is in some disrepair. Breakfast was ok but your served in bland room on plastic fold up tables and chairs. Over-priced and not worth the $ spent.

This was a great place to have our wedding reception. Excellent modern facilities, the food went far above all expectations and the staff are friendly and efficient. Anne did a great job organizing everything and responded immediately to every little request. The price was reasonable too. Thanks St. Albert Inn for helping to make our wedding a memorable occasion.

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Nice room, good breakfast included. Elina at the front desk is more than helpful and super friendly. All the staff, front desk, cleaning and restaurant were very pleasant. Waterslide and pool was nice to have. Ample towels available.

I found out last minute I had to go to St. Albert due to a family emergency. I was stressed and upset when I arrived about 10pm, without a reservation. Elena at the front desk made me feel at home and told me everything would be okay. She made sure my stay was as calm as it could be, and was extremely helpful with my requests. The room was nice, beds very comfortable, quiet hotel, with nice pool/hot tub, breakfast, and parking (above ground, so it fits SUV's). I would highly recommend this hotel for all types of travelers, and I can't thank Elena enough for her help at a very difficult time. From now on, I will stay at the St. Albert Inn and Suites, any time that I am in the area.

We had bookd an AGM with them. The service was excellent. We had to rebook the AGM and they were able to accomidate us again the next week. They had a staff member checking for vaccine cards and they were very good at doing this job given the times we are in. Highly recommend them for any meetins you may need to book,
