Husband bought take out ! Around $70.00
It was terrible Beef and Broccoli!
Singapore vermicelli was just mush all chopped up… look like leftovers that was scraped of someone’s plate
Curry Chicken with Vegetables the sauce was so runny it.. Terribly disappointing food.
Kimchi is always a favorite
The worst salad rolls I have EVER had. Half a shrimp, a sliver of pork and the smallest slice of lettuce. My 8 year old could do a better job
This was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Walking in on a Friday night, the place was completely dead—not exactly a good sign. In total, we saw only two other people come in during our visit, which should have been our first clue to go somewhere else. We chose this restaurant because of the great reviews online, but after dining here, I’m genuinely confused. The experience we had didn’t match the reviews at all.
We ordered the spring rolls, house special soup, and medium-rare beef & beef ball soup. There were a few positives—the service was friendly, the food arrived hot, and the restaurant itself was very clean. The spring rolls were decent, but not something I’d go out of my way to order again. The service was fine; water was topped up and the table was cleared quickly, but the wait for our food was longer than expected.
Now for the real issue—the food. The soups were incredibly bland. I wouldn’t even call it broth; it was more like noodle water. I had to add a ton of hoisin sauce just to get any kind of flavor. On top of that, the portions were disappointing. The bowls were mostly noodles with barely any meat—five small pieces in each, which is unacceptable for a dish that’s supposed to be rich and hearty.
With all the glowing reviews online, I expected much better, but this visit didn’t live up to the hype. I wouldn’t return, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. There are far better Vietnamese spots out there.
It's my favorite place to eat for a casual meal at lunch or dinner. I've been eating here since 2005 and I have never been disappointed.
Delicious food, excellent menu selection including numerous vegetarian options.
Reasonable prices and excellent service.
A family-friendly place, my kids have grown up coming here.
I especially recommend lemongrass shrimp with bell peppers.
Would eat here again.
Worst bowl of pho iv had. Beef was funky. Small bowl, large price.

I ordered a pork vermicelli bowl via skip the dishes and it was delicious. The spring rolls were crispy and full of flavour and the deep fried pork balls were a nice addition. I would definitely order from here again, or stop by if we’re in St Albert.

Service was very good. Beef and meatball pho was lacking it had 2 very small thinly sliced pieces of beef and 3 meatballs. Definitely not the quality bowl of soup it used to be.
