Ohana-Ya Japanese Restaurant

There’s no other options for good ramen that I am familiar with in this area, nor on the north end of Edmonton, so I am willing to give them a 4.

However, it was pretty mediocre compared to other ramen options in the city. Maybe there other items are worth trying?

My absolute favorite sushi restaurant. We drive across town to come here. It’s SOOO good! Never had a bad dish or meal in at least 10 years. ❤️😊

Trust me and go here! The sushi was delicious, the teriyaki was so flavourful the service was some of the best I’ve had in years. Everyone clearly loves their jobs and works together. They were so kind the kids. Portions were generous. Honesty I can’t give this restaurant a better review. Will 1000% be back again and recommend over and over !

TERRIBLE sushi! I already posted my review now just wanted to proof that half you can see in the garbage!
Canadian, Don’t go to this place !

First time took sushi from this place. And it was TERRIBLE!!! Rices is sticking and test horrible, and to much! So when you think you eat sushi in your mouth you test just ugly rice! Plus they are cheep! For six sushi portion they have just one small container of wasabi and the same small container of ginger (ginger also was old and didn’t test well)! So for 91.87$ we threw all rice and half of « sushi » in the garbage!!! « Golden » supper! With all our honesty my friend and I we don’t recommend this place for anyone! Again this place is TERRIBLE!

this was the worst sushi we have ever tasted. The rice could be used as glue it was so thick and pasty. The rice was so thick it was repulsive. The ingredients were terrible! Absolutely the worst food ever!

This was very visually shocking and beautiful. It takes a true artist to accomplish such a feat. I am truly taken away by the uplifting and astonishing service, atmosphere & food. The staff were amazing and I will go here every chance I get. 10/10

We had a sudden craving for ramen so we hit Ohana Ya for the first time today - incredible! The tonkatsu ramen and beef brisket ramen were to die for, and the assorted tempura was delicious. Best of all, the service was extremely friendly and fast, and we had a great time. We will definitely be back!
