OMG! Cupcakes St.Albert

Massive thanks to Chelsea and her team! I had reached out to several bakeries looking for nutritional info on their baked goods. Due to a metabolic condition my son has, he’s on a protein restricted diet. This makes it very difficult to find products in store that work for his needs. I’m not a baker or a decorator myself so putting together something that looks great doesn’t always turn out. I contacted several bakeries who were unwilling to share their ingredient list or protein content. I finally got in touch with Chelsea at OMG cupcakes at the recommendation of someone, she was phenomenal to work with. She took all the ingredients that she would put into a cake and counted the protein for me so we could determine how much protein would be in a cupcake or a slice of cake.

We have used her twice now and everyone at the party loved the food. We had cupcakes for his birthday party this weekend and the guests couldn’t believe that they were both dairy free and gluten-free. Often gluten-free products are very dry. Her cupcakes are very moist and super delicious! Thank you so much, Chelsea!

My mother bought a cake to celebrate my sister and brother in laws wedding since they couldnt afford to get a cake for it. When we picked it up the cake was just sitting out on the counter, in a warm environment. By the time I got home the sides of the cake completely melted off. I contacted the owner letting them know what happened considering I took all of their advice to avoid this. When the manager answered she blamed us saying that we must’ve left it in the car at some point, when that was never the case. We had picked up the cake and went immediately home, the heat in the car wasn’t even on. The only solution provided was to blame us and then offer a free 6 packs of cupcakes which doesn’t even cover half of the cost. This was an error on the bakers part, not ours.

terrible company publicly involved in vigilanty groups in local communities involving crimes against families! 0 star rating!

I have purchased cupcakes at OMG for numerous events. They have been delicious. I can truly say the best cupcakes I have tasted. I am not sure what has changed. My purchase on July 30 was for a special birthday. The entire assortment was bland, tasteless, absolutely no flavor, and dense dough. I was embarrassed that I had purchased these instead of a cake. One hundred dollars in the garage. I will never recommend OMG.

Thank you for offering different dietary requirement selections in your bakery!! I have come in number of times in my own and with my kids. We have loved all of the cupcakes, pop tarts and cookies (usually though on occasion a tad dry). We did get one “cake” box which was not the best kinda tasted like day old or two cupcakes…. Other than that everything has been excellent and staff is generally quite helpful though it seems there are always new staff that aren’t overly familiar with the bakery. Thanks OMG!! Happy to have you here in St. Albert!!

Delicious dairy-free and gluten-free options

OMG! Cupcakes was not originally a part of my plan for a family birthday, but I had to improvise quickly to fill a hole in our dessert menu for the evening. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The woman who assisted me at the counter (not sure if she was the owner or not) was super helpful and nice, and the cupcakes themselves made their namesake make sense. I kept on having to say out loud how crazy good they were! 10/10, will be returning.
